It was our 2nd time staying at this campground. This year they added the pergolas with a patio set and a new fire pit area. The view from those sites are just beautiful, overlooking farms and the mountain ranges. Very clean and well maintained. This is a small camp ground with a good distance between sites and most sites had shade trees. The dog park was clean and fenced in with available water. A great pool that is also extremely clean. Lots to do in the Luray area, the little downtown has some great restaurants, close to amazing hiking and the caverns is something to see once in your lifetime. We camped at Luray KOA (formerly Luray RV Resort Country Waye) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 2 nights for the Hershey RV show. Easy to get to from the interstate. It was a last minute decision so the park was very full. The extremely nice staff gentleman that met us at the gate and took us on a golf cart to all the site options that were still available to us was very helpful and kind. We picked a site that was easy to get in and out of. To be able to hook up to sewer we had to place our 5er so close to the side of the road that we were not able to extend our awning. The park needs lots of updating and maintenance. I did not go into the bathrooms or showers but my husband said I would not use them. Two of the showers were broke and in need of some serious cleaning. Our first night there we heard constant gun range shooting until past 8pm. There are quite a few of permanent sites and a few looked pretty "interesting" to say the least. The sites that had more privacy did not have sewer hook up but did have electric and water. Getting our RV in some of those sites with all the overhanging trees and tight turns would of been not worth the hassle for only 2 nights. I was grateful that we found a campsite on such short notice for the RV show but would not return there to camp again. We camped at PA Dutch Country Campground, Outdoor World in a Fifth Wheel.
Short drive to restaurants and stores.

Great little KOA near Charlottesville VA. Very clean and tidy. I didn't use the showers but my husband used them and said they were very clean. We pulled in on a Saturday with reservations, had a nice level spot that backed to the woods. Great location to Charlottesville, spent the day downtown and at a winery. We camped at Charlottesville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Go to Charlottesville Downtown Mall, great places to eat and shop. Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards was worth the drive, beautiful view, great wines and food.
