Silver State RV Park (formerly Winnemucca / I-80 KOA), Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Electricity wasn't enough to run our air conditioning. Park not well kept. Looks like it might have been nice park at one point, but they have not maintained it. Would not stay here again. We camped at Silver State RV Park (formerly Winnemucca / I-80 KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Redwood Coast Cabins & RV Resort (formerly Eureka Campground), Eureka, California

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Restrooms are clean, but laundry room was not. The pool out-of-service and it was a weekend! We booked primarily because it had a pool. Sites supposedly have grass, but the 'grass' is dry and yellow. Not a very attractive place. We camped at Redwood Coast Cabins & RV Resort (formerly Eureka Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Woodland RV Park, Libby, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park in the trees. Creekside sites are worth the extra $4 cost. Park is extremely clean. Gravel sites with grass and cement pads with picnic tables. Very helpful and friendly owner gave great info on the local area at check-in. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Woodland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tower Point RV Resort (55+ park), Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park is clean and has many amenities. It is mostly park models, with very few spaces for RV's. Sites are very tight and difficult to get in to and our fifth wheel is fairly small - 30 ft. Stayed for a month and were charged for electric (normal) but also trash and water on top of monthly charge. Park is located in area with a lot of restaurants, stores, etc. so is convenient. Wi-Fi is not very good at all; there is a computer lab, but you have to pay extra to use it. Pool area is beautiful; however, people 'save' chairs and there aren't enough for the number of people using the park. Only certain areas are 'dog friendly' and when you walk your dog are supposed to carry a squirt bottle of bleach to wash the street if your dog pees. Of course we always clean up our dog poop, but never have been required to carry a bottle to clean up pee. There is a canal area to walk your dog, however, it is not easily accessible from all areas of the park. Nice dog park area, again, depending on where your site is, it is not readily available. Not sure if we will stay again -- although seems the parks down here are all about the same. We camped at Tower Point RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Fountain of Youth Spa, Niland, California

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 6 weeks at FOY. Don't stay here if you like shopping - 40 minutes at least from anywhere. However, if you don't care about shopping, this is a great place. The only real negative is the sites are extremely close together. In most areas of the park, motor homes are parked forward and trailers/fifth wheels back-in. These means you have NO privacy as your doors/awnings both open the same way. In some cases, you can't both have your awnings open as they will hit each other. We were fortunate to have great neighbors, but could be a huge problem if you had a problem with neighbors. Gave the site a '3' only because we were lucky with our neighbors. Great desert walking trails. Wifi terrible, pools/hot tubs awesome. We camped at Fountain of Youth Spa in a Fifth Wheel.
