Campers BEWARE its a great park, BUT the most of the "Back-in" sites are NOT level depending on which side of the road your on you have to fully re-tract or extend your levelers, and do the opposite for the other end of your unit. The staff at the park are very friendly, and helpful. Enough can not be said about them. But they do not have fire rings at the pull-thru sites. There is No Cable or Wifi either, at any of the sites.

Too many semi-permanent sites. Most using 2 regular sites, and that they are using all of the corner lots. We arrived on Fri. MORNING and there were no sewer sites available. And only sites in the middle of the rows. This an older C/G So if you have a larger (35' + ft.) you may have problems finding or getting in a spot. It took us 45 min's. and help from the camp host to find a spot. Once "settled" in found that the Electric was not yet working. Called the office and was told that it was probably our camper but he would notify his supervisor. Hour and half later we called again this time spoke to the manager of the store told her about our situation and that we contacted the young man but no one showed up. She then notified the maintenance dept. a worker showed up checked the panel; low and behold the Breaker was bad. He replaced it and solved the problem. It seems that the park is geared more towards their regular semi permanent campers and not the transient ones.

We stayed 5 nights. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The only down side is that they could use better WiFi system. The best spot to pick it up is around the office and pool areas. Due to the area the campground is in, it's a bit hilly. The grounds are well kept. There are plenty of things for the kids do. The only "Cell Phone" service available is Verizon, due to the campground's location.

This KOA is more or less a transient park, ok for a night or two while visiting Lancaster. This particular KOA does not have a camp store for small odds and ends or minor needed items. There is no Swimming Pool or Game room for older kids or adults. Small playground for kids. Some, be of the Wooded sites can be challenging backing into but the Camp host will assist if needed. The Wooded sites have no access for Sat. TV, but they do have Cable. The wooded sites are nice size with space between sites, the "Open space" sites are a bit closer together.

Office staff was very good and efficient. Ground crew was very good as well, cutting grass in the site that I chose prior to backing in. Overall the park was in very good condition and well maintained. Ice cream social was nice, as well as being on a Farm. Petting Zoo, for the younger crowd as well as the adults. The only "problem" that I found was the signage could be improved when approaching the campground.

Good park, however very limited spots that can support Dish or DirecTV. We asked to have our fire pit "Cleaned out", and within 15 min a staff member appeared and cleaned out the debris. The only reason we rated the park a "9" was because of the TV reception. We also noticed 5 or 6 spots reserved for handicapped use, which we thought was very good. Will stay here again in the future.

We stayed there the 3rd week in July, the in our overall opinion it was a great place to camp, with little problems. With the site we were assigned we had a MAJOR Flood problem when it rained, (which was often). We asked to be moved 2 sites up but told they were reserved, it was only when we threatened to leave after day 2, of a 9 day, we were then moved to one of the "reserved" sites. Our original site 198, and site 199 have MAJOR flooding problems when it rains. after talking to several people found that management is aware, of the problem and continues to book those sites. We asked for straw to help with the mud and we were given 2 bales which helped after our moving to another site. If they would purchase some gravel and build up those affected sites they would be great. It seemed that all but two employees that we delt with were over the age of 30 the rest were teenagers that really didn't care about a customers service. But other than the flooding problem, our overall camping was great. We will return next year and now have a better idea of what site we want. The Campground overall is great with lots of things to do Miniature golf, Driving range, a Pool, Gym area, Rifle range etc.

The Park was very clean, well kept, however they could use more help to keep the weeds & grass under control between campsites. Sites were very spacious, but if you have Dish or Direct Tv make sure you request a location to get your signal, the park is in a wooded area and you could have some problems. Like the previous member mentioned, getting out of the park could pose a bit of concern using the main archway. One other thing, the office is only open till about 5 Pm, so try to arrive before that.

Nice park, its mainly a overnight stop for snowbirds travelling North or South. We were assigned a easy to get into site having arrived around 10 pm. The staff we met were great and park and bathrooms were clean. As for a Fire rings, you just request one at the office and they are delivered to your site. The only down sides we could see is that the sites are a bit close to each other, and they could use a few more washers and dryers in the laundry room. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for the October race, and to visit relatives near by. The campground is not a "Resort by any means of the imagination. That being said, it is clean, there are a couple of full-timers (Staff) living there. The Owner and staff are VERY friendly, and helpful. Again it's not a resort, but it has the basics, (Water, Electric & Sewer). the staff does its best to keep the fire-ants under control, (all you have to do is contact them). as well as keeping things peaceful. We will return and stay there again next year.

This is a local park with a majority of Water/Electric sites but have 10 "Full" Hook-up sites. Very Clean park, with 3 playgrounds for kids. The only downside is that the Restrooms are NOT heated or air conditioned. There is a "Camp Host" on site. Water is turned off in Nov. Reservations can be made in advance. They also give discounts to Coast to Coast members.

Campground is an OK place to stay for a day or two. It seems that it is more or less geared to permanent sites, complete with "additional sheds and building or tents" on site. We arrived on a Thurs. and requested a lakeside spot. Was informed non were available. We went to our assigned spot set up and low and behold there were spots available. The "Store" was a bit sparse unless you need beer. Those refrigerators were fully stocked. The rest were bare minimum. We will not be returning.

Great Park, the owners and staff were very friendly. They allowed us to "stage" a family / friend gathering at our site, since we traveled so far (Maryland). Trash was picked up several times a day and Restroom / showers were very clean and orderly. The only "downside" to this park is satellite reception, it's spotty due to the trees. However we will stay there again upon our return next year.
Date of Stay: July, 2010
Great transient park, and we would use it for just that. It has no cable or satellite reception, though. It is a small park with small sites but is very shaded. Nothing really to do in the park other than the pool and game room. We did not see or hear of any other campground activities.

We have to say this is a Good park. But ONLY good!! The office staff is often NON Committal. Have a "Have to do" attitude, unless you are a "Full Time RESIDENT", and there are some. The Park itself is Very clean, as well as the rest rooms and showers. The only problem they have is... that there is only one M/F set. The camp laundry room is very clean, and open 24 hrs. The CG is great for an enroute, facility, perhaps a weekend or two get a way. Oh there are NO shade trees, just a few saplings. They have only 3 "Riverside" sites available and they are only Water and Electric equipped.
