Very nice, pretty, small and quiet campground. Hook ups were well maintained. Easy to get to, right off the highway but can't hear the highway noise while in your camper. Was about 5 miles south of Savannah, Georgia. Campground did offer tour packages where a trolley comes to get you but since they pick you up at 9 am and bring you back at 4 pm, we didn't take advantage of this since we had dogs in the camper. Husband enjoyed fishing in one of the 4 ponds. They have horses and offer trail riding here as well. Pool was really nice, really clean and there was a lot to see around the campground like the Mackey house, located in the back of the campground. We'd stay here again without any question. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Lots to do in the campground and in the area. If you get bored here its not from a lack of things to do.

Nice campground, food shack had good food though a bit pricey. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Clean campground with fun activities. Large sites too, all the way around the campground. Road going into the campground was a bit bumpy, but once in the campground, all was level, spacious and well maintained. We camped at Suwannee River Rendezvous in a Fifth Wheel.

New girl made our reservations, she put us in a site too small for us but they corrected the error. Took my granddaughter here to for fun but the water park wasn't running until late afternoon and we couldn't ride the train which was disappointing. But pretty much had the park to ourselves all week which was nice. We complained about being charged full price and them not taking our Good Sam discount when we couldn't get use of the fun things for my granddaughter and the manager made things right, giving our Good Sam discount and cutting the price in half for us per night. We had planned to leave Friday but the new girl making reservations made an error, so we were to stay until Saturday. This being a holiday weekend, the campground filled up fast after 3pm, becoming noisy and crowded. The 10 pm quiet time is not enforced so we were kept up all night with noisy kids and partying parents. Also woke up at 7:30 am again with noisy kids and the running ATV's. We were also put in an open field with our camper and it was pretty hot out, one of the shady spots would of been nice. But most frustrating was taking my granddaughter there and the water park and train not running for her. We asked for a train ride but they said they had no one to run it. So if you want to do any of the fun kid stuff, you have to go on a busy, noisy weekend sadly enough. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Madison in a Fifth Wheel.
