Cherrystone Family Camping & RV Resort, Cape Charles, Virginia

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in site #615 right on water. Beautiful views, it's a shame they don't have concrete sites. Small dog park, good if you have a chihuahua. Easy check in and level site. Showers nicely tiled and plenty of hot water. Nice laundry area. They also have a small cafe that offered good food. We camped at Cherrystone Family Camping & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Frontier Town RV Resort & Campground, Berlin, Maryland

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $66.00
Overall Rating:

Nice paved roads. Nice paved sites but told they were not open in November. Bathrooms were clean but showers have push button. You must keep pushing it every minute. Super dog parks. There are 2 separate ones with plenty of room to run your dog, nice shaded area too. Nice store and helpful employees. We camped at Frontier Town RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Custer / Mount Rushmore / Black Hills KOA, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

beautiful resort but not worth the price. Could of stayed in town at a hotel and had a buffet breakfast for the same price. Also they charge in addition to the price a 10 a night resort fee. Do they think they are Marriot? nIce bathr.ooms, laundry, kid's area, but too small dog park, good for a 20 lb dog. Enjoyed eating at restaurant. Would not stay for more than one night because of price. Koa is getting way out of line with prices. We camped at Custer / Mount Rushmore / Black Hills KOA in a Motorhome.

Belvidere East / Exit 170 KOA, Midland, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

right of interstate, but far enough so you don't hear the highway. some concrete pull through mostly gravel. Good cable and decent wifi. Bathrooms older but clean and small laundry. Sits in back of 1880 town. Nice to visit, props from Dances with Wolves. Did not use the pool. Nothing else around for at least 45 miles. We camped at Belvidere East / Exit 170 KOA in a Motorhome.

Mount Rushmore KOA at Palmer Gulch, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is a resort, but be ready to pay not just the regular fee but a 10 resort fee. Do they think their the Marriot? Koa is slowly pricing themselves out of business. We could of stayed at a hotel with a hot buffet breakfast for 10 more. If you don't mind paying hotel prices, then this is the place to stay. Clean showers, small dog park (good for little dogs), nice trails to walk, great play area for kids, 2 pools, and snack shop. Close to Mt. Rushmore too. We camped at Mount Rushmore KOA at Palmer Gulch in a Motorhome.

Fishing Bridge Campground (Concessionaire Operated), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

,fPotholes are terrible. Really need to fix roads. Sites are mostly gravel and close together. Stayed in d-loop. There are paved sites in e, f, and g. No cable. Showers were clean and hot and provide hair dryers. Only showers in main building. Clean laundry but 2.75 a load. Staying here will save you about an hour of driving. Driving around the park is very winding and 20 miles will take about 40 minutes so it is definitely worth it to stay inside the park, both from a gas perspective and time. Ate at Lake Hotel and Old Faithful inn, both were average and were about 60 for 2. There are small grocery stores with very limited and expensive items. We camped at Fishing Bridge Campground (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Page Lake Powell Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Girl working the front desk was clueless. Pulled in for one night and said they were full, then said we could stay in a monthly site. Walked around that night and counted at least 15 empty sites. They could of charged us more and we could of had cable. Sites are gravel and dirt. Looks like a lot of people living there, especially in monthly sites next to us. Cheap for 1 night. Would not stay there again. We camped at Page Lake Powell Campground in a Motorhome.

Goulding's Lodge & Campground, Oljato-Monument Valley, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Number 1 reason to stay here is the view. It is spectacular from almost all sites. Although the higher up, the better the view. Pull through had plenty of space for rv and tow vehicle. Indoor pool, nice laundry, clean bathrooms and shuttle to lodge and restaurant. Restaurant is reasonably priced and food is good and it has a great view. No dog park, but lots of trials and we played ball in the fenced in tent area. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Goulding's Lodge & Campground in a Motorhome.

Route 66 RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at The park down the road before, this park is much nicer and no train and very little traffic noise. Large pull through and all paved sites.sites are extremely long. Two dog parks that are large enough to throw a ball and play catch. The manager, made it a point to find us and take a picture of him and our dog and give him treats.Very dog friendly. Beautiful bathrooms and decent water pressure. Huge club house area with pool table and free coffee. Nice laundry area. Casino shuttle comes right to your site and will pick you up. Monday and Tuesday, two for one at buffet. Working on pool, looks like it will be nice when done. This is a new park so landscape needs to grow. It is about 15-20 minutes from downtown, but definitely worth the drive. Super friendly staff. Special rate for April $35. Will stay here again. We camped at Route 66 RV Resort in a Motorhome.

American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

I gave a 9 because depending on wind direction the noise from 40 at night is loud. We stayed in site 135. Nice showers and clean bathrooms. Dog park is covered with rubber shavings and is big enough toss a ball for catch. Nice breakfast included with waffles, cereal, bagels, pastry, and some fruit. Pool closed but hot tub was open. Not very hot. We were there for a week and would not go back only because of the noise. We camped at American RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Riverbend Hot Springs, Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Only 6 campsites and extremely tight. Right across the street from hot springs. Springs are fabulous and worth getting the private soak. Another plus you can bring your dog, they say 20 lbs. but we did the private with our 55 pounder. Very peaceful and quiet, nights are pretty with all the lights. You can walk to a few restaurants in town and a park to run your dog. Stayed for 2 nights, no cable but we picked up 17 stations. Definitely will go back. We camped at Riverbend Hot Springs in a Motorhome.

Nice sites, packed gravel. They have fencing and flowers between sites. No pool, but large hot tub. Showers are private and have good pressure and hair dryer. Two dog walk areas that you can actually throw a ball an exercise your dog. Nice laundry area and beautiful clubhouse. Right off 10, but if you stay in the middle to back area, no noise. Occasional train noise but never loud after 10. Lots af areas to walk dog and can walk to one restaurant. Everyone was friendly and nice. We stayed for 4 days. Cochise Terrace RV Resort, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in a pull through by office, level, but like a parking lot. Better views on perimeter. Excellent bathrooms and great shower pressure. Beautiful pool area and jacuzzi. Nice dog run, big enough to throw a ball. Added plus, dinner every night for 5 a person including a drink and dessert. Nice trails to walk your dog. Did hear the train whistle, but only 2 nights out of 7, depends on direction of wind. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Pricey, but stayed Christmas week. Concrete pull through with patio set and deluxe gas fireplace. Fruit tree on site and grape fruit, lemon, and orange trees all over and plenty to pick. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi area and nice restaurant and bar on premise. In an industrial area, but felt safe in campground. Nice area to walk dogs and one of the largest dog parks we have ever seen. Definitely will stay again! Worth the extra for Christmas. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.
