Nice park. Beautiful views. Decent and clean facilities. They have a lot of outdoor things to rent like boats and hiking trails too. Quiet park. Wasn't loud at night. We camped at Arndt's Aroostook River Lodge & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cavendish KOA, Cavendish, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

My initial thoughts on this place were not too high but after spending 5 days here, I can see how good of a job they do with this campground. It is ultra kid friendly and quiet. Lots of activities, and kept spotless. If I returned again, I would pay up for a pull thru site or a premium site. Those are far more level and have just as much shade (actually more!) than our back in site. We camped at Cavendish KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Sugarloaf Provincial Park, Atholville, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

The park was well maintained and operated. The site was roomy and Shaffer and overall we really liked the park. As with all provincial parks that we have been to, this was well run, quiet and enjoyable. No WiFi or tv and limited things to do here other than hiking. Site was very level. Overall we were pleased with our quick stay. We camped at Sugarloaf Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Herring Cove Provincial Park, Campobello Island, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Impressed with this park. Very clean and rate is reasonable. No water or sewer at our site, but dump out station is available. Lobster bake going on here this Saturday night with live music. Site we are in is very spacious. Not a whole lot to do on the island other than the Rosavelt park and a few site seeing spots. Incredible beaches and spacious parks. Great place to visit for a quick trip. We camped at Herring Cove Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Narrows Too Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Trenton, Maine

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $110.00
Overall Rating:

We paid extra for a waterfront site - I wouldn't do that again at this park, I would grab a traditional site elsewhere. The water and beachfront is accessible to all, and sites along the water are tight and at a premium. Not much for kids to do there except ride their bikes - pool was closed for the season (expected so not a big deal) but no playground or field, etc... close to everything so that part was nice. We were fortunate to get the site we did (double site) but others along the water were much narrower... approximately 16' is what I paced off for width on others in the 300's. Well maintained park and roads. We camped at Narrows Too Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.

Bucksport / Fort Knox KOA, Orland, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Nice owner who went out of her way to make our trip a good one. Tight spaces hard to back into spots. Looks like majority of park is seasonal. Extremely quiet and relaxing. We were there late so many activities were no longer active. We camped at Bucksport / Fort Knox KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Bayley's Camping Resort, Scarborough, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $110.00
Overall Rating:

We booked our trip of nine nights months in advance and this was the one trip the family was most looking forward to all summer based on what we had heard from others. What we experienced was not as good as we hoped for. The good parts in no particular order: 1) there was a bunch of activities and facilities to use 2) the pools were nice, and the main pool with a cover and cafe were excellent to be at 3) great entertainment scheduled 4) camp store was well stocked 5) there is a ton of things to do in the area and the park was nicely located. 6) free trolley service was excellent the bad: 1) no one drives 5 miles an hour!... lots of dust, and unsafe conditions for people walking and biking 2) was expensive - most expensive place we have ever stayed 3) was noisy - neighbors (and neighborhood) partying until 1, 2 and 3 in the morning many... some quiet nights but more often than not noisy neighbor nights 4) golf carts everywhere and people driving them poorly.. often kids driving them unsafe. The whole park is one big golf cart track Overall - I'm not sure that we will return. This was a large park and if everyone even marginally followed the rules established by the park, it would be a better experience for all, but unfortunately that wasn't our experience and the park does not enforce anything. My perception after 9 nights there is that this is more of a party destination and less of a quiet and family destination. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Quiet place! Clean and low key park. This was the quietest and most inexpensive park we have ever stayed at. Not a lot of amenities but also an inexpensive rate. Park is easy to navigate We camped at Palmyra Golf & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Moose Hillock Campground, Warren, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

Ok let me start by saying the pool facility is amazing. Kids had a blast in the pool. It was the major attraction to this campground for us. Other pros are that the camp store is well stocked and we had perhaps the nicest and most spacious site we have we have ever had. Fire pits are absolutely awesome as well. The cons are that this place is built on the side of a mountain and many of the sites are a serious bike uphill to get "home". There is absolutely no Verizon cell service there other than an occasional 1x bar. They say the have wifi but it is only at the pool house and is near non existence on bandwidth so other than minimal work, don't expect to do anything of significance if you can get on at all. I also didn't like their "bands" like a theme park that you had to wear your entire stay or be prepared to pay a big replacement price. Store items were also a bit pricey. Perhaps the biggest con for me was that this place is located in the middle of no where... 30 minutes minimum to get anywhere you want to be or go to get things. I would say staff was not welcoming or friendly by any stretch. Not sure we will return again. We camped at Moose Hillock Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Twin Mountain / Mt. Washington KOA, Twin Mountain, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park. Playground area is excellent. Park roads are nice. Non premium pull thru sites are a bit narrow but reasonable room to live around the camper. The store is well stocked and there were many activities going on. The owner is about the nicest campground operator we have ever encountered. He is seen regularly and seems genuinely interested in making sure everything is alright with your stay. We camped at Twin Mountain / Mt. Washington KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

We were impressed with the park. The folks running the park were extremely friendly and helpful. The park was very clean and well kept. There are elements of the park that are quite aged but overall facilities are very well kept and park is clean, orderly, and was pleasant to visit. The store was well stocked and the prices were reasonable. We would not hesitate to visit again. We camped at Skowhegan / Kennebec Valley KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Bar Harbor Campground, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Check in was easy. No reservations allowed so we felt uneasy arriving on a holiday weekend without a reservation but we didn't have a problem finding a good spot. Very reasonable price. Facilities are clean and playground is modern. Pool was heated and restrooms were dated looking but always clean and neat. Out site was perfectly level without any adjustment needed. Overall I liked the park We camped at Bar Harbor Campground in a Travel Trailer.
