Maple Lane RV Park & Marina, Mapleton, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $20.00

This was our second time at the park, and wow, changes have been made. The new owners have made a lot of changes to create privacy and comfort to this park. This time we found out about the laundry being "gratis". The tent area is located on a lush lawn, with hookups, creating a wonderful view of the river. Its fishing season, so plenty of anglers are there, all with big smiles and cheery offerings of their catch of the day. Everyone is friendly, check-in is fast, and you are lead to your site. From big-rig to tents everyone is made welcomed at this park. looking forward to our next trip to this park, to see what has been done next! We camped at Maple Lane RV Park & Marina in a Motorhome.

Maple Lane RV Park & Marina, Mapleton, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a cute and country, very convenient with a marina for 25 boats "RV" park. New owners show a positive attitude and have plenty of fresh ideas to revitalize a "fisherman's" RV park. You can fish from the dock (grand-kids will love this!) 14 Miles from Florence on the Siuslaw River. Steps from post-office and convenience mart where the take and bake pizza is to die for! Hard to find in most RV directories: (541) 268-4822. Big Rig friendly, we stayed in a 45' RV. We camped at Maple Lane RV Park & Marina in a Motorhome.

Moab Valley RV Resort , Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

If you want security, this is the park for you. It was clean and shady, but still enough room for a taller rig. Sites are small and side by side. There are a lot of signs and rules, but so-many people still need to be reminded about campground etiquette. Roads get narrow to sites when fifth wheel pickups overhang and crowd the road, it does take finesse to maneuver a 45' coach around them. If you desire quiet, forget it...this is a jeep and quad park, expect work on vehicles for play the next day. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lost Alaskan RV Park, Alpine, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

When in Alpine, this has always been our choice. Open desert, young trees, funky but cute picnic tables. WIFI is available, didn't need, we have broadband. Gravel thru-out. There are other RV parks, but this park is clean and quiet. We stayed in our 45' Coach. Will always return to this place. We camped at Lost Alaskan RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rose Valley RV Ranch, Silver City, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The park is neat and clean. We arrived in the late evening, and the office staff was eager to assist. Open, airy feel, big pull-thrus. The only negative side to the park was one "monthly" work tenant roaring his diesel truck thru the park with no regard for anyones well-being. We stayed in a 45' Coach, and would stay again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.
