Richard B. Russell State Park, Elberton, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park had a lot of activities available. Our lot was overlooking the beautiful lake. The site was good, but a little small to back into. Our main concern was that the camp host did not respond to barking dogs two sites away. Three dogs were leashed to a pole all weekend. They barked night and day. The owners did not respond to their barking nor did the park host. Night and day the dogs barked which ruined the serenity of our camping experience. We camped at Richard B. Russell State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lots of activities available. The golf course is beautiful but challenging. Many people were fishing and kayaking in the lake.
