Mill Creek RV Resort, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

I still stay here, but when I arrived I had just relocated to the area from South Florida. I am a student at a local college and a full time RVer. I truly enjoy staying here. The pool is magnificent, always sparkling clean and well maintained. The grounds are consistently being maintained. There is a club house with tables and chairs where parties and bingo take place (it has a pool table). The staff is always helpful. There are many shady sites, a beautiful creek, and several pull through sites for those staying to take advantage of it's fantastic location. We are about 10 miles to ALL area theme parks. Disney is a quick ride west on the Osceola Parkway, Universal is a short drive north on FL Turnpike, and Seaworld is between them on I4. Overall, a relaxed, safe park. We camped at Mill Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Super convenient to the shopping and restaurants in The Loop and also close to Historic Downtown Kissimmee. Close to all area attractions and easily navigated as it is only one mile off Osceola Parkway on Michigan Ave.

Palm Beach Traveler RV Park, Lantana, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed at this park for several months due to work. The park itself is decent although there are no real amenities worth mentioning. Power surges were an issue. No table provided. Community Kitchen under lock and key all the time. Sites 45 - 66 had sewer smell and occasional problems. The pool is inside with no deck for sunning. Laundry room is small only four washers and dryers. Any events that are advertised are barely delivered. The main problem with this park is the management. To say they are strict would be a gross understatement. If you happen to go 11 miles an hour or just catch him on a bad day you are going to be subject to a public berating. He has done this to many people and takes retaliatory actions against people who dare to complain about him. He has chased away many seasonal residents and the prices are going up for the next year - through the roof. There are many other parks nearby for less than $1,000 a month with way better amenities within 50 miles either direction. My best advice is to look elsewhere, unless you absolutely need to be in this immediate area. It does not have your classic friendly Campground feel. We camped at Palm Beach Traveler RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The location is decent in terms of accessibility to the area's features. It's just south of the city of West Palm Beach. Some reviews here say it's a high-end area that would be a big stretch. It is a lower middle-class neighborhood. The manager is a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Find yourself another Park without the potential explosive humiliations.

I was only in the park for two nights but it was absolutely beautiful. The staff was incredibly friendly and the facility itself was beautifully maintained. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It's a great stop off if you're heading anywhere on I-75. It's beautifully shady and well maintained. Great area for heading to the beaches in Fort Myers or anything the Gulf Coast has to offer.
