Moon River RV Resort, Mohave Valley, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for a small, quiet, friendly park, and do not need wifi this is a great place. When we had our new trailer delivered there in June 2016, we were told we could purchase our own secure internet for $20 when we came to stay in October. This did not happen and on December 1st the park was sold. We have been discussing the problem of unreliable wifi (usually cannot even access so we spend alot of time at the library 2 miles away) and they have been working hard to have new service installed. They have heated the pool, installed fencing for the dog park, and tried to fill in low spots that turn to mud in the rain. The on site handyman has been the reason we have been patient with the problems. As new RVers we have made mistakes and had problems and he has been very helpful. Our one year contract is up in June and we are hoping the wifi problem is resolved by then so we can stay another year. We camped at Moon River RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Take the drive to Oatman, then continue over the mountain to Golden Valley. Also the drive through Christmas Tree Pass was very nice. Found out why it has that name. If you need a dog kennel for the day or overnight, Doggie Day Care on Hwy 95 is top notch and great kennel rates.
