Cape Cod Campresort & Cabins, East Falmouth, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 8 nights. This is a large campground with a lot of amenities for in season. 2 pools, mini golf, paddle boat rentals, paddle board rentals, arcade, etc. We stayed off season so the price was a little high for anything we could take advantage of. But to that point there weren't many campers left and only a few transients staying. They spaced us out so we all had plenty of room which was great. They have cable with minimal channels, but enough. Cell service with Verizon was okay so we were able to hot spot Wifi. We had one of the premium sites which came with a stone fire pit, paver patio and picnic table and Adirondack chairs around the pit. They also have plenty of cabins to rent. Area is a good place to explore the western side of the Cape, Plymouth, and ferry to Martha's Vineyard and other areas. We would stay here again. We camped at Cape Cod Campresort & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Wakeda Campground, Hampton Falls, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 2 nights. It is a large park nestled in the back of a residential neighborhood. We had enough cell service to do a hotspot for Wifi. Our back-in site was sufficient and all hookups worked well. It is close to beaches and also convenient to visit Maine as well. A large amount of seasonal residents but neatly kept. We would stay here again. We camped at Wakeda Campground in a Motorhome.

King Phillip's Campground, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was at the tail end of the balloon festival so it was quite busy. It is great proximity to the Outlet Malls and downtown (trolley was provided). There are many seasonal/permanent residents who for the most part keep their areas tidy. During season there are plenty of things to do in the area. We would stay again. We camped at King Phillip's Campground in a Motorhome.

Riverview Campground, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night because the park (their sister park) was full due to Balloon Festival. The site was convenient. Many sites right on the water and many seasonal sites. Many pine trees gave decent shade but dropped a lot of needles. We would stay here again. We camped at Riverview Campground in a Motorhome.

AA Royal Motel & Campground, North Tonawanda, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 2 nights. It was very convenient to get to Niagara Falls. The park was basic and had what we needed. The owner was very nice. A little pricey for what you get but the location can't be beat. Would stay here again. We camped at AA Royal Motel & Campground in a Motorhome.

Countryside Campground, Mogadore, Ohio

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights. We were given a pull through in a transient area (8 sites). There were a lot of permanent/seasonal sites. It was gated for security. Everything worked well. We would stay here again. Visited the Rock and Roll HOF and the Pro Football HOF. We camped at Countryside Campground in a Motorhome.

Carthage Gap RV Park LLC, Coolville, Ohio

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Was a little apprehensive when we pulled in due to the abundance of full time residents. We were escorted to another section which was a very large area with permanent unoccupied TT's and 5th wheels on the outer rim and 4 or 5 very large pull throughs for the transients. We were very pleased with the accomodations and hookups. We did loose power for about 30 mins but then it was restored. We would stay here again. We camped at Carthage Gap RV Park LLC in a Motorhome.

Stayed for just an overnight. Very convenient on and off the highway and had a pull through site long enough for the toad so didn't have to unhook. Very pleasant stay! Will definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pride RV Resort, Waynesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

The standard sites were not very accommodating to big rigs. What was supposed to be a pull through (after 2 tries) we decided to back in. We had to maneuver a tight move between trees and cars parked in the road because the site was not long enough for them. Every time a new rig pulled in everyone stopped to see how they were going to manage getting in their site. Other than that it was a very nice park and plenty activities to do. We would stay again. We camped at Pride RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Heritage RV Park, Augusta, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped for just an overnight. We got there at 1 when the office was supposed to open and no one was there. We waited and finally called the # on our reservation. The host said he was running late and guided us over the phone to where we were to stay. It was a back in with plenty of room for the tow. Appeared to have plenty of residents who kept their sites clean and tidy. We would stay here again. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beaver Run RV Park, Metter, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for just an overnight and it was very convenient. Family run and very friendly. Spacious pull through large enough for the motorhome and toad so we didn't have to unhook. Many trees for shade. Not really a destination but they did have a few amenities that we did not use. We would stay here again! We camped at Beaver Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 5 nights only because it was booked and was all we could get. We stayed in the sites across from the beach but did not mind. Would have preferred to be on the beach but the these sites were very spacious and private. They have a river and a pier you can fish off of or launch your boat. They have a nice camp shop with rentals, snacks, and firewood. Pets are not allowed on the state park beach, but pretty much any other beyond their border. There is a bunch of restaurants and stores nearby. We will definitely stay here again...if we can get a site! We camped at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Bee's RV Resort, Clermont, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 2 nights traveling through Florida. It is a Coast to Coast. Sites can be purchased and built upon and covered. The site we were given had a ridiculous access. We had to drive on uneven ground covered in grass, random asphalt and dirt in a tight path behind sites and then "pull through" into the site. The roads were very narrow and we had to back up and maneuver the rig in order to get out. The residents we encountered were not friendly. We will not stay again. We camped at Bee's RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pensacola RV Park, Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 3 nights. The park was very clean and had quite a few seasonal/permanent residents who kept their sites very neat and tidy. It was very convenient to Pensacola Beach and Fort Pickens where if you are there during the Blue Angels practice do not miss it. The site was a pull through and level. We would stay here again. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights here. We were parked between to permanent mobile home residents. Both were very nice. The woman in the office was very friendly during check in and helpful on things to do and see. They also gave us a bus schedule which runs near by and is only 2.75 for the day. The park has a small pool which we did not use. There are some trees and grassy areas. The park is along the Riverwalk. We would stay again. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is plenty to see and do in San Antonio. We toured the Alamo and also watched the IMAX movie on the history.
