Guestward Ho, Deposit, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The Guest-ward Ho is great. I have been here 7 years. My kids love it. I am a seasonal camper with 5 children ages 11-20. The town of Deposit is quaint. It has a low crime rate and and it is a place where you can have your child walk down the street without fear. The town is surrounded by mountains and has the Delaware River running through it. This campground is run and owned by a couple who took over the facility about 4 years ago . It has never been better. They are an easy going couple that will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The Guest-ward Ho has many seasonal campers who return year after year. Some of them have been there for 30 years. That should speak for itsself. They have parties on holidays and anyone who is here is welcome to come and have a good time. My wife and I look forward to every weekend there so we can unwind to a beautiful lake with a mountain view. An 18 hole golf coarse is 2 miles down the road. The river has trout in it and it is visited every year by many fly fisherman. I like to refer to this campground as paradise. It is truly Eden-like. We camped at Guestward Ho in a Travel Trailer.
