Exit Glacier hike and visitor center is wonderful. Also the 7.5 hour Major Marine boat tour of Kenai Fjords NP was great! For a different treat, enjoy a meal inside a remodeled school bus at Red's Burgers downtown.

Beautiful park! The sites are spacious in size and in how they are spaced apart. There are hiking and bike trails connecting to the campground. Nice sized fire pit and picnic table. We camped at Williwaw Campground - USFS in a Travel Trailer.

Golden Nugget RV Park, Anchorage, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very large park. Sites separated by very small patch of grass but no real privacy between spaces. Bathrooms were clean but smelled bad so did not use. WiFi was off and on, but sadly more off. The park is very convenient to shopping, eating, and visiting Anchorage. There is a nice city park across the street. Laundromat was large and reasonably priced. Parking our truck once we disconnected took most of our "yard" space. We camped at Golden Nugget RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Homer/Baycrest KOA (formerly Baycrest RV Park), Homer, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

The views from this park make it worth the price! The ability to sit outside (or inside) your camper and watch eagles soar right beside you as you overlook the beautiful Kachemak Bay is priceless and very relaxing! It is very convenient to everything in Homer, too. We camped at Homer/Baycrest KOA (formerly Baycrest RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Talkeetna Camper Park, Talkeetna, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this park. It is convenient to everything we needed - the train depot, the quaint downtown area attractions, etc. The showers were excellent - private bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower in a clean and spacious room. Laundry facilities were small but adequate. Hookups including wifi all worked great. Sites were close but had nice landscaping inbetween, plus the closeness felt cozy due to the setting rather than intrusive. No picnic table or fire ring at the site. We camped at Talkeetna Camper Park in a Travel Trailer.

Teklanika Campground (NPS Campground), Denali National Park, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

The best part for us about this park was it's location -- 29 miles into the park -- and the fact you couldn't leave or drive your vehicle for a minimum of three days. We stayed four nights and left so relaxed it was wonderful. No phone service, no electricity, and not much generator noise at all. People tend to go there to get away from things and it works! The nightly ranger talks were excellent, and the bus service was more than adequate. We rode our bikes and hiked around the campground as well. We camped at Teklanika Campground (NPS Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Riley Creek Campground (NPS Campground), Denali National Park, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Riley Creek for three nights, and would have loved to stay longer! This campground is centrally located and convenient to all of the offerings at the entrance area for Denali. The sites are well spaced with a good amount of privacy. The water fill stations are great, and even though the showers cost money, they were well worth it! The only negative was the expensive fire wood!! ($10 a bundle!) We camped at Riley Creek Campground (NPS Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Riverview RV Park, Fairbanks, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

The park has some good qualities - an excellent laundry room, great private showers, clean bathrooms, great cable tv, full hookups and helpful service at check in. The down side was no working internet and sites very close together. We could have forgiven the close sites had the internet worked. It is easy to get into Fairbanks. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pullen Creek RV Park, Skagway, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Park is downtown Skagway - excellent location! Our site backed up on the city side of the park (other sites back up to harbor side), and we enjoyed talking to the people walking on the sidewalk back to their cruise ships. Easy walk and/or bike ride into town. Good wifi available only by purchasing an additional hotspot plan. Water and electric hookups at site; dump area in park. No picnic table provided. We camped at Pullen Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Toad River Lodge & RV Park, Toad River, British Columbia

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The back-in sites back up to the lake and offer beautiful views. The pull-through sites are level and in the middle of the campground. If we had known the back in sites were so much prettier, we would not have asked for pull through. The wifi worked very well from our site. Posted cost for one load of laundry - $6.00! Café and gas station also on site. Free fire wood. We camped at Toad River Lodge & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

RV There Yet Campground, Red Deer, Alberta

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We had planned to stay only one night and was attracted to the park because of it's name. The staff were very helpful and the park met our needs. Our grandson enjoyed the playground area. The weather turned very bad during the night and we ended up staying a second night to wait out the wind storm. They were very accommodating and we enjoyed our unexpected day of rest. Wifi worked even during much of the windstorm. Canadian dollar rate was 40 per night. We camped at RV There Yet Campground in a Travel Trailer.
