San Antonio KOA, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great campground for family camping. They have a decent playground and nice pool. We were able to get a spot close to the playground and I never had to worry about the kids like you do in some parks. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the shower/restrooms were always kept neat and clean. Even though the road in was rough there was good access to I35 and Loop 410 which can get you just about anywhere in San Antonio that you want to go. Yes the WiFi was spotty but that was not enough of a problem for me to downgrade my rating. We were there for 9 nights. Try the pizza!!! We camped at San Antonio KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Dakota Ridge RV Park, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Park was clean and well kept. The shower and restrooms were very nice. Pool area and club house were all up to date. My issues were with the road noise (next to and up the street from a Harley dealership and a biker friendly bar) and the unlevelness of our site. It was a pull through but was still unlevel. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Roman Nose State Park & Lodge, Watonga, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in one of the full hook up sites. There are other non-full hook up sites available at a lower rate. There were a good number of sites that had shade. They do not take reservations. Cannot swim in the lake but they have a large pool available for swimming. Great place for a family camping trip. Also the golf course is outstanding. We camped at Roman Nose State Park & Lodge in a Travel Trailer.
