Hi-Pines Campground, Eagle River, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Watch how much they charge you. They charged me the $40 rate it should have been $37. I had PPA so I only paid $20 per night. We stayed 2 nights. Their computer system is very slow. It took us 20 minutes to ck in. The park is great for kids. A lot of things to do. Bring ant deterant. I would stay again. Sites are very level on the South side. We camped at Hi-Pines Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were traveling North looking for one night stay. PPA had this park for $20. Gravel roads, no pot holes, gravel pads except for pull thrus. There are gravel pull thrus also. Very level sites, Very clean, 20 and 50 amp with water and sewer. Two sewer connections, front and rear. TV reception is poor. 11 channels and 10 are religious. No cable hook up. Free wifi that works very well. Close to town. We travel in a 5th wheel. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very roomy. Easy hook ups, level sites, large pavilion, grass areas, no pads, no picnic tables, reasonable PPA. 30 & 50 amp power. Cable tv. Nice place to stay if you have things to do in the area. Wayne Fitzgerrell Recreation Area, Whittington, Illinois

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We just stayed one night passing through. The park is very large and roomy. Asphalt drives and pads. We stayed in the non- reservable section. We had 30 amp service. Fill your tank with water before entering the park. Electric sites where we were. Early spring and sites needed to be cleaned up. I used the pit toilets and they were clean. Roads and pads were asphalt. Sites were very easy to get into with my 38 foot 5th wheel. Cell service was good. Very nice boat landing. Would recommend to stay. We camped at Wayne Fitzgerrell Recreation Area in a Fifth Wheel.

Spring Creek Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Park is run down. Mostly a workers park. The pull thrus are in a low lying area. Grass or field if I may say is cut with a hay mower. Added 2 inch crushed gravel to raise pads. Pad are just wide enough for your camper. I would not recommend this park to anyone. This is the worst park I have stayed in, in the last 5 years. We camped at Spring Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
