We found this campground to be one of our favorites. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located in the beautiful South Lake Tahoe forest before you get to the Y intersection. Because it’s in the forest, it is difficult to position your RV between the trees and you’re on dirt, not a pad. Once you’re positioned correctly, I found the sites to have lots of room. It is close to the small Lake Tahoe airport so you get some aircraft noise during the day. If your site is in the areas with tents (sections A & E), the bathrooms and showers were very busy especially in the mornings, however in the RV areas (sections G & F) they weren’t too busy. While we were there, they finished fixing the pool so it will be open again in 2 weeks. The playground is great for kids. On Friday nights they show a movie and for a small cost on Saturday and Sunday mornings they have a pancake breakfast available. During the week there are various activities including a karaoke night. We enjoyed our camping experience here because of the room between sites, the forest experience and the activities offered. Our price reflects a Good Sam discount and a discount for the pool being closed for repairs.

This campground is in the beautiful Redwoods. The staff is very friendly, the sites are groomed and level, and all the utilities worked great. However, I was disappointed that, while the bathrooms were clean, there were no soap dispensers or paper towels to wash your hands (the restroom across the office only had paper towels). Also, I was unable to find any large trash bins to put garbage in, only small trash cans you'd find at your home. Location is great and close to Roaring Camp trains and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

This RV park is located in the beautiful redwood forest just outside of Felton. It is also very close to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. When we arrived, the managers notified us they had moved us to a new spot, and that it would be easier to park the trailer. I was glad they did because when I saw the original spot I had no idea how I would've parked there. The spots in this park are very tight and although we could get our slide out, we had no room in the front to put our chairs. Also, in the recreation room, the pool table, and ping pong table are very worn out. There is also a card table and a foosball table. They have a nice view of the San Lorenzo river from the deck of the clubhouse.

This is our 5th year staying here during the Easter week break with our family. The staff has always been very nice and courteous. The park is very well maintained, the bathrooms are extremely clean. It has a well stocked general store and they offer several activities like swimming, ping pong, basketball, arcades, mini-golf to name a few. We had very good Wi-Fi reception from our spot and they do have multiple Wi-Fi "hot spots" throughout the park. The park is in the perfect location with the pier shops and the beach just a short walk away. Without a doubt a great place to stay and play.
