WaKeeney KOA, WaKeeney, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park to spend the night while traveling across Kansas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a nice enclosed dog area as well as one that you can walk your dog. Not much shade, but the grass is well trimmed. We camped at WaKeeney KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Collins North / Wellington KOA, Wellington, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This is the worst KOA we have ever visited. There was no one to help us to as site as there was a meeting of the staff at 4:00 in the afternoon?? As soon as we checked in the power went out in the area and the staff was annoyed when we inquired about it. Our site had a dead tree over hanging out camper. 90% of the park was permanent residents We were told not to use our sewer as it was clogged. When I complained about paying for sewer and expected a discount, the attendant became annoyed. There was the smell from a nearby feedlot as well as flies. I do not know how they can keep their KOA identity. We camped at Fort Collins North / Wellington KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Colter Bay Village Campground -- No Hookups (Concessionaire Operated), Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground with spacious camp sites. We opted for no electric hookups as we used a generator. There are hookup sites available on a first come first serve basis. We arrived at 9:30am and had no problem getting a site. Fresh water fill up was very near our site. We camped at Colter Bay Village Campground -- No Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Travel Trailer.

Tickfaw State Park, Springfield, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Tickfaw is a hidden treasure. Campsites are good size and well arranged for privacy. The only issue is that it is a swamp, which floods if there is a heavy dew! We have arrived a couple of times to find the park closed due to flooding. Be sure to call ahead. We camped at Tickfaw State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lakeside RV Park, Livingston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to visit with a free fishing lake with no license required. The only problem is the noise from the road on the west side. It appears to be the only place for part-time visitors. Too loud to sleep after 6:00 am. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
