Diamond Campground and RV Park, Woodland Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Upon check in manager was very nasty and had no concern about reservations. We have camped here in the past and did not have this type of service. We had a group of nine rigs and none of us will being staying here again in the future. Upon check in manager had made changes to our reservation like our leaving date which we did not change and site numbers were switched for many. We were suppose to have clubhouse for the entire weekend and that did not happen even though no one else used it when we were not in there. Any wood that is left over they pick up and throw away so they can sell their own wood. What a waste of resources! the sites are not very level as we had to raise one side up 3" to be almost level. Pine needle are very thick through out campground and can be a fire hazard. We camped at Diamond Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Needs to upgrade some of the spaces so that they are long enough for pull vehicle and rig. Owners are only just out of their first year and are making progress with upgrading the park. Convienent to restaurants and if you want good Mexican food, visit Felisa's as they can handle big and small groups and have fast service. Close to Walmart and fuel stations as well/

Peregrine Pines FamCamp (Military FamCamp), US Air Force Academy, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We were graciously greeted with professionalism, attitudes and creativeness. The park was very clean, quite and had great appeal. Only problem was those darn trains and occasional people exceeding the speed limit of 5 mph. We will definently be going back possibly yet this year. We camped at Peregrine Pines FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Travel Trailer.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

I would like to thank the owner for assisting with getting a friends 5th wheel out of a ditch and leaning up against a tree. The way he and his crew worked together with their knowledge of raising and moving the 5th wheel so not to cause more damage was a miracle in its self. He had the know how to lift the rig and how to block the rig so that it would not cause more damage. Thank You, we will be back very soon. This is one of our most favorite campgrounds to attend. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

One of the friendliest owners I have met. Very willing to bend over backwards to assist at anytime weather it was a minor or major event.
