Sun Country Golf Resort & RV Park, Cle Elum, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Obviously, this is a RV park for people who golf. We don't. There's nothing for people who don't, which is fine. No playground etc. It's the service here that's really, really poor. Very sour women. All 3 that I encountered. From my call on the phone to the 2 I encountered in the office. I don't get it. I've seen this complaint in several other review sites as well. Your customers pay your salary. We won't be back. Grass is thick and fairly long at site. Lots of bugs. No fire ring. Picnic bench was melted and damaged. All hookups were in the back. Bring leveling block as site slopes forward. We camped at Sun Country Golf Resort & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great park, friendly people. 5 min to downtown Coeur d'Alene. Site 113 is right next to the lake with a huge grass area. We will definitely be back. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Smokiam RV Resort (formerly Soap Lake RV Resort), Soap Lake, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We did come on a holiday stretch but this place was trashed. Garbage all over the place, people have clotheslines hanging all over, completely overrun with unsupervised kids until very late. My toddler picked up a dirty fork. My husband cleaned up soda cans and wrappers at the filthy playground so she could play. Fire pit was filled and dirty. It has potential but they need to keep Up on rules and clean up for it to be enjoyable. Lots and lots of tent camping. The lake has a gross odor too. We left a day early with no refund and won't come back. We camped at Smokiam RV Resort (formerly Soap Lake RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails-Thunderbird Resort, Monroe, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely will NOT be back. Grass is overgrown everywhere. There are no defined separation of sites because of this, and people had their tents, dogs and law chairs touching our slideouts. Garbage and dog poop scattered around. Rude employees. Scolded at check in for pulling ahead 2 feet further than marked. Scolded at the pool for letting our baby in the adult pool that was not marked anywhere. I guess we are just supposed to know these things. We follow rules in life. All of them. I do not like being scolded by rude and unhappy employees like I'm a felon. Bathrooms were disguising (in the am) amenities are in disrepair. We will not be coming back. We camped at Thousand Trails-Thunderbird Resort in a Motorhome.

Mt Hood Village RV Resort, Welches, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful location. We chose it because it's so woodsy and very "squatchy" ;-) Wide and easy to navigate in our 38' A class and we are newbies. Nice check in procedure. This place has a playground, a fully stocked store with almost everything you could imagine as well as a bakery that serves breakfast and lunch only. We stayed in VM98 and were backed up to the woods. Beautiful spot. Not a ton of sun. The only con was the fire pits were all full of junk. We didn't have a fire but if we had I would have been upset. A lot of garbage. My 2 year d was obsessed with fire pits during this trip so I feel like we looked in all of them looking for a "fire". They all had garbage and debris in them. We bought a TT membership here and will definitely be back. Many many sites were not even. No gravel. They do need to shovel some in or something to help with the mud in some of them. For this price at least. We camped at Mt Hood Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nehalem Bay State Park, Nehalem, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park it pretty tight and pretty busy. We stayed in C36 and it was very poor for any outdoor hang out space compared to others. We are in a 38'A class and scraped all the way in. These do back up to the ocean but that doesn't mean anything because it's quite a walk. I thought maybe it was closer. There is a path to the ocean nearby. Better spaces were A23, A30 and A37. Everything A loop was nice. Much larger, sunny open grassy area outside. I couldn't even open my awning. We will come back. We camped at Nehalem Bay State Park in a Motorhome.

The Waterfront at Potlatch, Potlatch, Washington

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is our favorite park. We are having a hard time exploring other parks because we are scared it can't compare. Spots are close but angled in a way that creates some privacy. Site 12 is the best. We camped at The Waterfront at Potlatch in a Motorhome.
