Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA, Kingsland, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This place was great. Everything from check-in to the ribs I had at the snack bar/restaurant were first rate. Check-in was quick and professional, and I was escorted to my clean, well-appointed site. The roads weren't too tight, and the place had a fun, family atmosphere. I made use of the dog park, and checked out the general store as well. I stayed here as an overnight on my way to Florida, but I'd definitely come back here again. As a side note, there's diesel available nearby. We camped at Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the food in their little snack bar/restaurant. I had the ribs, and they were excellent.

Swamp Fox Campground, Florence, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I used the Swamp Fox as an overnight stay on my way to Florida. It's an older park with lots of permanent residents, but otherwise passable for an overnight stay. My site wasn't level, but it worked fine for my needs, and the power and water pressure were good. There was no wifi at my site. I think if you manage your expectations and use it for an overnight stay, you'll not mind the Swamp Fox. One thing of note, there's a reasonably tight hairpin turn to the right to enter the campground road off the main road. My 40-footer with toad scraped the trees on the campground road so I could make it. Yours might as well. We camped at Swamp Fox Campground in a Motorhome.
