Elks Lodge #1682, Boulder City, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place to stay to see Hoover Dam as well as drive into Vegas. The sites are sunny with partial shade and has a great view of the valley. This is a member location and well worth the membership. We got there on a Bbq night and had good food and of course, great drinks. They also have their own Propane for sale. We camped at Elks Lodge #1682 in a Travel Trailer.

Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated), Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The best part about this campground is that it is inside the park. The park is clean and is better for RV's than Mather, in my opinion. Its a great way to maximize your time at the Grand Canyon. Stayed for a week and it was well worth the cost. One thing you will not find is a fire ring. No fires were allowed during our stay. We camped at Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated) in a Travel Trailer.

Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here before heading up to the Grand Canyon. This was a great KOA although we did not stay there for long. The showers were clean as were the bathrooms. The pool and hot tub open after 9am. The sites were a bit unloved so be prepared to level. I would stay here again. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Green River State Park, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here to be close to Moab. I will tell you that we should have stayed in Moab to go to Moab! its about 45 minutes from Green River. I think the advantage was it was a state park and well maintained. Also, The park was shaded by trees and next to a golf course and state police barracks. Although there was no sewer hookup, there was water and electric. The showers were clean and quiet at night except for the occasional train. We camped at Green River State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Boyd Lake State Park, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed hear while visiting relatives nearby. Things to remember is the price of camping does not cover the cost of the $8 daily entry rate. Also, the check in was extremely slow as the office at the park also registers boats- an extremely slow process. Although there is no sewer hook up, there are bathrooms and showers. The showers require quarters and I think it was $1 to get the shower started. All of the sites are pull through but area not big enough to leave the tow vehicle attached. We camped at Boyd Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Albany County Fairgrounds, Laramie, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I had a tire issue which led me to stay in Laramie. Short on places to stay, I found the fairgrounds. I attempted to contact management via phone, but the numbers got me voicemail only. So, I set up power on the back line on RV spots, totally missing the paved RV spots right behind the maintenance building. No big deal and it was a safe place to sty for the night. I saw about four other RVs on site. We camped at Albany County Fairgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Rupert Elks Lodge #2106 (Members Only), Rupert, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

I was heading to Colorado and needed a place to stay. This is the grassy area next to the lodge and next to the golf course. It was a great stay. I will say the road noise at night is noticeable. It was not a real problem for me but if you are looking for quiet, this may not be the place. Along with the camping fee, you get two drink tokens. Also, there is no sewer hookup so be prepared. Backing in was easy and there were no other RV at the lodge. We camped at Rupert Elks Lodge #2106 (Members Only) in a Travel Trailer.

Ocean Breeze , Ocean City, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed her for Thanksgiving weekend. The campground (as all of the campgrounds in the area) was dealing with flooding due to heavy raining. Service was great in spite of this. They offered a thanksgiving dinner and the clubhouse was full of people. We are KM members and this was our first trip to a KM resort. I would definitely come back. We camped at Ocean Breeze in a Travel Trailer.

Copalis beach is one of the only active airports located on a beach in the US. In the summer, heading down on a weekend and you may get to see small aircraft landing.

Cascade Meadows RV Resort, La Pine, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is a decent place that you should use just for an overnight stay on the way to some other place. It's a big field with hook ups. I will say the service was good but I would not eat breakfast there- $8 for all you can eat sausage, eggs and potatoes. The food is much like military food. I would definitely drive into La Pine for food. Also, no fire rings provided- they will rent one to you. The bathroom worked but it is a bit run down. All in all, I would not pay full price. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Devil's Lake State Park, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $3.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed her over the weekend, just after a series of storms. Half of the RV sited were flooded at the time but it appeared the camp was in good condition. I would say that if you are staying on the west side of the campground, be prepared for traffic noise. HWY 101 is less than a block from the this side of the campground. In spite of this, this was a great campground while in Lincoln City. Camp host was responsive and helpful. We camped at Devil's Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Weekend farmer's market at the community center exactly next to the campground. Easy walk there and close to the outlet stores in town.
