Cozy Corner RV Park, Clinton, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is becoming our favorite campground on Truman Lake. Clinton is just a short 60 mile hop from Kansas City, which is important given the gas prices. The owners are great folks: friendly, helpful and want to ensure you have a great stay. Pool is in place and should be open in 2008, fishing pond is also new that gives kids a great experience. For those who want to fish or hunt there is a boat ramp not more than 1/2 a mile from the campground and if you want to eat out, Clinton is just 4.5 miles away. Good place to get away for the weekend. We'll be back!!! We camped at Cozy Corner RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Last Resort, Warsaw, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Great landscaping, shaded, very inviting campground about 8 1/2 miles south east of Warsaw, MO. Mostly full time campers with some spaces for over nighters. Steep hill takes you down to Lake of the Ozarks, where you can launch a boat or fish off the docks. Can even tent camp down there. Odd electrical policy -- charges $3.00 per 12 hours if you use a/c, and you are on the honor system. Campground owners also have strict policy against swimming in the pool if you have been swimming in the lake. Out of the way -- make sure you bring what you need because there is no store on site or in the immediate area. Pet Friendly. We camped at Last Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Cozy Corner RV Park, Clinton, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful host. When you come through the doors you immediately know they are here to help and want your stay to be comfortable. Large pull through sites, large area to walk dogs, public use areas and very easy access to the lake. They are also making improvements -- digging a catch and release pond for the kids and plan to put a pull in, likely in 2009. This was our first stay, but it won't be our last. Easy lake access, easy drive from the KC area. An absolute find! Strongly recommended!!! We camped at Cozy Corner RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Our favorite campground in Branson. MUST STAY if you are going to the shows. North of the RED Route, easy access and lots of options to avoid the traffic. Staff -- what can I say, they are the best. These folks go out of their way to help and recognized us right off from our trip last Thanksgiving. Great place, great people, great prices!!!
