Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. Very well maintained. Abundant wildlife. Very friendly and helpful staff. The downside was the wifi. It was hard to maintain connectivity from not only my coach (parked very near office) but from in the lounge area. I would hope that ownership can upgrade the wifi so that it is at least consistent in the lounge area and hopefully the entire resort. A plus that I appreciated is that although this is a high end resort, they don't have the 10 year rule and welcomed my 18 year old class a as they did the new KingAire parked across the road. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Peaceful Valley Campsites, Le Sueur, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet. Ownership has worked hard to clean up and improver property. Replaced all electric boxes in last year, but two adjoining sites use the same box. This configuration can make it difficult for some if you don't have a long enough electric cord or water hose. Sites are grass with crushed rock road. Required minimal leveling. Owners are very nice and even helped arrange mobile repair for my coach. WIFI is improved and available throughout the park, though strength depends on how many others are using it. AT&T cell service was impossible without our booster. We camped at Peaceful Valley Campsites in a Motorhome.

Seattle / Tacoma KOA, Kent, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Very tight and narrow roads and camp spaces. Difficult to maneuver a 37 foot coach. VERY muddy with lots of standing water. Had to choose between having the slide out or being able to get out without getting ankle deep in mud. Stayed with the slide in (otherwise it would have hit the electric box.) Asked to be moved to the adjacent spot that was dry and was denied. Management told me that it would interfere with the guest in the next spot satellite reception so I had no other option but the assigned site. The campground was full. Many appeared to be semi or permanent residents. It is directly across the street from an Amazon fulfillment center and on a heavily travelled corridor. It does have very good access to transit and one could be in downtown Seattle in under an hour. Personally I would rather boondock at Walmart than stay here again. Use it ONLY as a last resort. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.
