Prairie Creek COE, Rogers, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I normally really enjoy the place but, the last couple of years, not as much. In a place like Arkansas you would expect friendly southern hospitality. The folks who run the booth seem as though they are out of touch with the local culture. The ones who drive the golf carts are also on the rude side. We had a heated conversation early in the morning when the guy was really sure that we didn't pay for our 2 day stay. Guess what, he had to come back and try to apologize after he did what he should have done to begin with and check his records. On one of his 3 trips to argue with us he could have gone and cleaned the restrooms which is infested with spiders and what not. For $20 a day or more you would think that they would be a little more on the ball. If you try to call the Corp to voice your complaint you are wasting your time. Maybe if they get enough reviews they will replace their staff and start running a better park for the price. We camped at Prairie Creek COE in a Travel Trailer.

Beaver Lake Hide A Way Campground & RV Park, Rogers, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

It's a hide away far away from anything. All of the sites are really close together so, don't fart too loud or you might get a noise complaint. The lake shore is a long way down a steep hill. If you need wifi you better use your 4g up. It seemed dog friendly unless you have young big dog who is hyper, didn't seem to matter that the dog was leashed and always under watch. The water at the camp sight is nasty like salt and sulfer, I didn't care to run it through my camper. When it rains there are large pools of standing water everywhere and you are on wet grass/mud to track into your nice clean rig. I would rather spend a little more at a corp campground instead of ever going back. We camped at Beaver Lake Hide A Way Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
