Island Retreat RV Park, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The previous two reviews are very accurate about this park. The most favorable feature about IR is the location. It is biking distance to the beach and the biking trails provide a safe environment for both walking and biking. This is what has kept us coming back for the past seven years. As previously noted, the cable TV is fair at best and the internet has degraded the past couple years to where it is not usable. Many of our friends have gone to other parks because of this. We camped at Island Retreat RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Willow Tree Resort and Campground, Longs, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the finest parks you will ever stay in. The sites are huge and the facilities are impeccable: game rooms, exercise room, meeting rooms, laundry, etc. The location is remote and quiet; yet, within 10 minutes to the Myrtle Beach scene. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Duck Creek RV Park, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good overnight campground. It is convenient to the interstate and is easy to access. The sights are pull-thru's and are level so no need to level or unhook for overnight. The owners/host are pleasent and very helpful, the internet is strong and the overall appearance is clean. We have stayed here overnight twice and will stay here again on our next trip in that area. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, Gilbertsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We have camped here several years ago in a motorhome. Campground was spacious and clean. We tried to return in a fifth wheel, but encountered an overpass too low to continue. The overpass stated 13'1" and our fifth wheel specs are 12'11". We stopped to evaluate the clearance and our fifth wheel would not clear. We had to back down the road to turn around. Be very careful trying to approach this campground in a fifth wheel. We camped at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park in a Fifth Wheel.
