Cooper Lake State Park / Doctors Creek Unit, Cooper, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed overnight for Mother's Day weekend. We were able to make reservations the day of-- as others have said, this park is not usually very crowded. There were many sites to choose from even being a holiday weekend. The park was clean and amenities include a couple of hiking trails and a small sandy beach swimming area. Our campsite was not technically waterfront, though you could see the water through the trees. It was a short walk through the woods to reach the water. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Staff were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again! We camped at Cooper Lake State Park / Doctors Creek Unit in a Travel Trailer.
