Distant Drums RV Resort, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park. Perfect location as a base camp for Sedona, Cottonwood, Jerome. Whatever you want to go and do it is all within a 30 minute drive or less. Easy access from 1-17. Large paved sites, super nice staff. Pool and jacuzzi were really nice. With temps in the lower 100's, the pool water is very comfortable. If you stay here, be sure to go to Blazin'M Ranch for the cowboy dinner. We camped at Distant Drums RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Oklahoma City East KOA, Choctaw, Oklahoma

Excellent campground. Easy access from interstate, no noise, very quiet. Fantastic playground, paved roads, kids enjoyed riding bikes. Walking trail is very nice. Staff was extremely pleasant, we were escorted to our site. My verizon air card did not work but had no problems with the free wifi from the campground. We camped here in a motorhome and would stay again. Highly recommended. We camped at Oklahoma City East KOA in a Motorhome.

Memphis KOA , Marion, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $38.00

What a nice campground. It is about 6 miles off if I-40 just outside of Memphis. Very shady spots, easy to maneuver a big rig, our neighbor had a spot big enough for his very large motorhome and the toad, they fit all in one spot. Some sites are concrete pads, most are gravel, pretty level. New owners were SUPER, SUPER nice! Pool and playground for the kids, they rode their bikes through the park. The only reason it did not get a 10 is because there was no cable. Free wifi but did not use because we have a wireless air card. We stayed here passing through, would stay again. We camped at Memphis KOA in a Motorhome.
