Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort), Eloy, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was one of the BEST parks we've ever stayed in. After being on the road for over 9 hours, we stumbled into this site. We called after hours and they made us feel welcome. Upon arrival, the office was opened and we were escorted to our site. This has to be the cleanest park we've ever stayed in. The laundry room, bathrooms, showers were immaculate. The site was large and clean. What a treat! We played in the pool till 11:00pm after a very hot day. Family friendly and safe. We will definitely put this on our radar for next time we are in the area. When traveling through Arizona, don't miss this one. We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Clean, clean, clean. The staff was extremely friendly and even stayed after hours to help us with local sights. Right next to Firestone winery and a close drive to Hearst Castle. Very safe, family friendly park. Would definitely stay here again. The town is nearby and quaint. This was a real treat. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Malibu Beach RV Park, Malibu, California

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

This park is wonderful. It is located right on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. When you think of California, you think of this type of park. The views are spectacular. Some sites site right on the bluff with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Security is tight at night. Sites are small depending on which site you are assigned. The staff is extremely rude but worth putting up with for the views. You can actually hear the surf break. We stayed here for 9 days before heading up the coast of California. We liked it so much, we stayed here again on the way back home. Would definitely go back. We camped here in a motorhome We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA), Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Skip this one. It is located in a parking lot. It is very hot. Rude staff. Horrible for pets. You get hooked on the fact it's next to Circus Circus and on the strip. The fact is that if you don't have a car, you have to walk 15 minutes in the heat to get to the cab stand then stand in line for 15 minutes in the heat for a cab. Our friends left after one day and moved to another park. I wished we had done the same. It was miserable. We will never return. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.
