Lake Falling Star RV Resort, Dale, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was second time we stayed at this park. The first time we enjoyed our stay mainly because of the other campers that were here. When we went back this time it was unkempt and unfriendly. We did not enjoy ourselves and will not go back. We camped at Lake Falling Star RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Vip - La Feria RV Park (55+ park), La Feria, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We decided at the last minute to go to the valley. We did not know most RV parks in the area are closed on weekends. When I called VIP. Hostess answered and we told her were about 30 minutes away she said come on in. Her husband met us out side the gate and helped us in. The park was nice, clean and quiet. We would stay again. Management was great. We camped at Vip - La Feria RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Lake Falling Star RV Resort, Dale, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We spent the winter here. We paid $300.00 a month plus electric. Super nice park in a small town. The owners are on site. They make you feel very welcome. They have a beautiful lodge and pool for everyone to enjoy. Really nice clean restrooms, showers, and laundry room. Some of the cutest cabins you will find in any park. One of the best places we have ever stayed. We were sent off with a great meal and made many wonderful friends there. We will go back. We camped at Lake Falling Star RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cowtown RV Park, Aledo, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The park was nice. Site was easy in and out. The park is on a one way service road on interstate. A lot of road noise. Not easy access to town because of one way road. The people were rude. They insist you come in office every time enter or leave park as well as your visitors. They would chase us down if we did not stop to remind us. Suggestion: Give a parking pass for people staying there and a visitor pass with site number on it. Do not think we will stay again. We camped at Cowtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Crestview RV Park, Buda, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This was nicer than we expected. It is close to the highway. But you do not hear a lot of road noise. Close to Cabelas and Wal-Mart. Also alot of restaurants. All of the people in the office were friendly and helpful except for 1 man. He was so hateful we decided to leave later in the week. The girls in the office refunded the rest of our money.Overall it was a nice clean park. We camped at Crestview RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lincoln Park Manor (CLOSED), Aubrey, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We needed a place to stay for a job for a couple of months. We tried one place in Aubrey that was a big mistake. We drove by this place by accident. There was one site available so we took it. The park is mostly mobile homes. The RV sites are separate. It is a very clean park. Well maintained. All the sites are pull through. The road noise is loud it is on highway 380. It is always full since we have been here. We paid a month $435.00. We would stay again. We camped at Lincoln Park Manor (CLOSED) in a Fifth Wheel.

River N Lakes, Aubrey, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Got to the park and not what was on web site. The office road was one way and the tight turns and brush made it hard to get our 33 foot fifth wheel through. Was not allowed to see park before paying. Tried to park us on cliff with real deep gravel started to sink. No trees like web site showed. Sewer lines on top of ground, stopped up. We paid for month, got back all but 35.00 back for their trouble. Will never go back. We camped at River N Lakes in a Fifth Wheel.

Park not maintained. Needs to be mowed. Electric at some sights don't work or unsafe. While we were there sewer was backing up on ground. Was cleaning it out with a shop vacuum and dumping on ground. The people were very nice, but don't seem to care about park. We would not stay again. We camped at Burkburnett / Wichita Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Wichita Falls RV Park, Wichita Falls, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The park was easy to get in and out with any size rig. The management were some of the rudest people we ever met. They do not like children to play in pool always getting on to them. We did not even have children there. Just watching. It started raining a lot while we were there. The management left and the park flooded. They did not warn anyone. Everyone was abandoned by management. That was a horrible day for all of us left there. Heard management was allowed to come back to work! We would never go back as long as they (current management) are there. We camped at Wichita Falls RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
