Crow Creek FamCamp (Military FamCamp), F. E. Warren AFB, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

For a stopover it was OK. However, for a 45' motorhome with tow vehicle, getting to the park was very tight. From the back gate which is the preferred way to get in and out of the park with a big rig (which is closed on week ends), you then go to an approx. 1/4 mile gravel road with a tight turn over a bridge, then into the park. Our site was set up so that our neighbor's door opened to our door side. Gravel/dirt roads and sites, so very dusty. I'm not sure of my site number, so put in site 0 for this review. Very disappointing for my perception of an Air Force Base. We camped at Crow Creek FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) , Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $71.00
Overall Rating:

The area surrounding this park is beautiful. However, the RV park itself is terrible. Do you like navigating very tight roads and getting into your site? Do you like trees hitting and scratching your coach? Do you like sites where you can't level your coach? Do you like mud around your coach when it rains? Do you like seeing only trees (approx. 1 foot from a slide) or other RVs? If you like the above, then this park is for you. And, hadn't realized that there was basically no cell service (Verizon) for phone calls or internet use. Very disappointing for such a beautiful area. We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Rushmore Shadows RV Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park and close to attractions that we wanted to visit in the area. Our site was in a newer part of the park for larger RVs. No trees, etc. but large sites and easy to navigate. Nice amenities such as the pool and miniature golf. Wifi only worked when we were at the office. My Verizon Mifi did work well. I would recommend this park and would stay here again. We camped at Rushmore Shadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch, Big Timber, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice little park. Peaceful with a creek/river running alongside of it. I would agree with past reviews that say it is "out of the way" which is good, but the ¼ mile of gravel road to get to the park is not what I anticipated. And, although we reserved a site with full hook ups, the sewer was not easily accessible, so we did not use that or the water hook ups. We were able to get to and stay in the park in our 45' coach but I would not agree that this is a big rig "friendly" park. We were only looking for a place to stop overnight but think I would look for a park a little easier to get in and out of next time. We camped at Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch in a Motorhome.

Polson Motorcoach Resort , Polson, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

This is what I think of when I hear "motorcoach resort." Very nice, clean park with great views of Flathead Lake and the surrounding mountains, even from inside our coach. Interior roads are paved and easy to navigate. Our site was concrete as are most. There are some that are still gravel. Our site (169) had a great outdoor kitchen and furniture with fire pit. Many sites, like this one, are privately owned so the amenities vary depending on what the site owner has done with it. The amenities and type of site also dictate the price. Wifi wasn't very good but my Verizon MiFi worked good and allowed me to work as needed. This park is right next door to their KOA park, which looked like one of the nicest parks I've seen with the exception of this class A only park. We also had access to the KOA amenities like the pool, playground, and putt putt golf (fee to play golf). I would definitely recommend this park and hope to stay here again. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty of things to do locally. Recommend visiting the farmer's market, museum, Kerr Dam, Glacier National Park (1.5-hour drive away), and eating at Pete's Lakeview Bar & Grill (just across the highway from the resort).

Mountain Valley RV Resort, Heber City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Friendly staff. Great view of mountains! Nice, level concrete pad with good amount of grass between sites. Nice clubhouse, pool, etc. We only stayed for 3 nights but would like to come back to this campground again in the future. I would give this a higher rating if it were close to a lake, ocean, etc. I would recommend this park to others. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Went to Park City nearby and enjoyed Main street as well as a mining museum that is right on Main street. We (and our son) enjoyed the mining museum and a ride on the trolley. Also went to the Museum of Ancient Life (Dinosaur museum) in Lehi that we really enjoyed.

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first time at this RV park. We were in the older area. Site was large enough for our motorhome and vehicle parked on the side. Unfortunately with these pads, there was no grass. Lots of dirt, gravel, and dust. We could have parked in the "nicer" area with grass, but sites looked very close to each other and trees looked low enough to scrape our coach. On the way out of the park, trees did scrape the top of the coach. Fortunately, we were just here for one night. I would not consider this a "big rig friendly" place. I would attempt to find another place to stay next time through Cheyenne. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground, Apple Valley, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, clean campground. Close to Minneapolis but doesn't feel like you're in a city. We had full hook ups and had a nice, roomy site. WiFi wasn't dependable, and had not great but adequate Verizon signal to make phone calls and work on computer. Staff was nice and helpful. This was our second stay at the campground and would stay here again. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Motorhome.
