Columbus-Belmont State Park, Columbus, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here over-night while traveling back home after a vacation out west. This is a smaller park, but very neat and clean. As someone else mentioned the sites are paved, but not level. There is a nice amount of space between sites. We happened to get a full hook-up sight on a Thursday night. While we were there it was very quiet and restful. We were traveling with a 40 ft. fifth-wheel pulled by a dually pick-up and we were able to get them both on our site. Camp host was very nice and helpful. We'll definitely come back to this little gem. We camped at Columbus-Belmont State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

North Star RV Park and Mobile Home Community, Valley Center, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

As others have commented, this is a no frills park but clean and quiet. Mobile homes to the back, but they seem well kept, weeds growing up around the back of one but I wouldn't have seen them if I hadn't been walking our dog, and there was plenty of room for that. Pool is out of use because owner said there was not enough interest to justify the upkeep of it. Small playground. More over-the-air stations than we've ever picked up before; I think the auto scan picked up 66. I didn't need to use it, but in the Rules and comments in the information it says there is a laundry open at request no later than 5pm. You must prepay because machines are not coin operated. There are men's and women's restrooms, but we didn't use them. Take note of the site map before parking because there are no numbers on the sites. We only needed to stay here overnight but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We camped at North Star RV Park and Mobile Home Community in a Fifth Wheel.

WYO Campground, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here overnight while traveling. The park was basically all gravel and rather tight. There was a good deal of noise from the interstate which fronts this Campground. We're very conscientious about cleaning up after our dog, but apparently someone else wasn't, even though bags are provided as my husband stepped in someone else's "business." I'm glad this was only an overnight stay. There were very few other options in the area. We camped at WYO Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Flying Goose Campground, Fairmont, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We found this place while traveling thru to another destination and were looking for a place to spend the night. We were here on a Thursday and it was quiet and relaxing. The Campground had many permanent campers, but the units were approx. 90% newer units and sites were well kept. The lady that led us to our site was so friendly and pleasant which was welcoming when coming in from a long day on the road. We needed a pull thru site, and although the site wasn't spacious, it was what we expected and it was fine. There is a small beach, miniature golf and playground. We would stay here again if we are thru this way. We camped at Flying Goose Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
