Walker River Resort, Smith Valley, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Walker River Resort. Our two children, 8 and 10, swam in the pool, rode their mountain bikes, and even roasted marshmallows in the evening, etc. Sure our kids got dusty, but they were happy. The bathhouse was within walking distance for showers afterwards. There were quite a few dirt bikes and ATV's in the park, however, they have a security guy that enforces the Resort's ATV rules. He is a big help. Finally, we didn't arrive at the Resort until about 8:00pm on Friday. The store and registration office was still open to accommodate us late arrivals. I was told that the store remains open later on Fri. for that very reason. We will definitely return!! P.S. Cingular/AT&T and Sprint cell phones work in Smith. We camped at Walker River Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Annett's Mono Village, Bridgeport, California

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I escaped for an overnight camping trip. The park and its location was very scenic. We hiked the afternoon we arrived and the following morning. There were breathtaking views. We had cocktails in the small bar the evening we arrived which was nice. We camped at Annett's Mono Village in a Tent.
