Wisconsin Dells KOA, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 3 nights. With the KOA discount and the free member appreciation night and cashing in some of our earned points, we ended up paying about $85 total for the 3 nights: not bad!

The campground is on a hill and the sites are on terraced levels. We were on the upper terrace in a level deluxe pull-through site with patio, rocking chairs and patio table. It even had a gas grill for our use. The campground maintained that woodsy feel you want for camping. Utilities were great and wi-fi was good. Verizon hot spot did well, although occasionally slow. We managed to sync the satellite for DirectTV, but there were also plenty of over-the-air channels, as well. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Wisconsin Dells KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a tourist mecca. We really enjoyed the Upper Dells Boat Tour and the Lost Canyon Carriage Tour. And there's no shortage of good restaurants.

Hickory Hollow Campground, Utica, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 2 nights at the Passport America rate. The people in the office were very nice and helpful and directed us to a long back-in site near the back with well-trimmed trees. The site was level and spacious, and the utilities were good (high water pressure - use a regulator). Internet was good and our Verizon was strong. Our only complaint is the lack of television - satellite did not work, no cable and only five over-the-air channels (2 Spanish, 2 religious and 1 cartoon channel). At the PA rate, it was very good value for the money. We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Motorhome.

Lazydays RV Campground, Seffner, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice large RV resort with many amenities. We especially liked the screened-in pool and the restaurant on the property. The sites are close, but paved and level, TV, electricity and water were good and stable, and there are small trees for almost all sites. We did not use the laundry, but did check it out and it looked clean and there were a lot of machines, including one large-capacity one. There are playgrounds and activities for kids and weekly movies. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.
