Edgewater Resort & RV Park, Kelseyville, California

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very naive RV park, VERY difficult to get to. The road going in is VERY windy and narrow. The Trailer Life Directions did us no good because one of the bridges was out. This park is nice but was disappointed in the site we got. They gave us the choice of sites and the one I choose must have been the most difficult in the entire park to get into! Fishing was awesome and we were able to get cell phone reception just fine with our Cingular/AT&T phones. We camped at Edgewater Resort & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Redwood Coast Cabins & RV Resort (formerly Eureka Campground), Eureka, California

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We were able to find this campground very easily, (came from the north). Wish the onramp going southbound on 101 was better though. There are no full grown trees here. Made the place look a little run down. They have planted trees but its going to be a few years. We were here on a Friday night in July. We were able to get in without a reservation but the place was crowded and noisy with families. I have kids myself but just seemed like the place was over run with kids! The staff was very friendly but the staffer that checked us in was new, we asked and paid for full hookups but ended up moving three times because she kept putting us in a spot with electric only. The interior roads were in poor condition. We camped at Redwood Coast Cabins & RV Resort (formerly Eureka Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Albany / Corvallis KOA, Albany, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice KOA, one of the nicer ones we have stayed in. We got a 25% discount because of a relative in a local hospital which was very nice of them. Pool is heated but the weather was too cold to swim in it. The showers in the restrooms were not the cleanest. Staff was very friendly. There are some full timers, or appear to be. But their sites were very well maintained. The park is close to Hwy. 20 but the trees blocked most of the noise. We will stay there again in July. We camped at Albany / Corvallis KOA in a Travel Trailer.
