Premier RV Resort of Lincoln City Oregon, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Premier RV Resorts of Lincoln City is a nice RV park that has somewhat tight spaces. It has a nice modern building for check-in with laundry and exercise rooms. The wifi is good and works well. The park itself is designed to use every square foot of space. Nothing is wasted. Internal roads are tight, but navigable. The spaces have a half picnic table positioned behind your neighbor's hook up area. Not really room for a full size picnic table. Room to open the slides, but not put the main awning out. There is room to park your toad. It all works, just a little tight. Water pressure is very low and at times is just a trickle. We parked here in a 40' motorhome and would come back for short stays. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Lincoln City Oregon in a Motorhome.

Winchester Bay RV Resort, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Winchester Bay RV park is a park right on the Bay. Water surrounds the park on three sides. The sites are spacious enough with the RV and a picnic table sitting on asphalt. There is room to park your toad on the site. Each site has full hookups and the wifi works OK at times. It can get a bit windy at the park. On the bad side, the park does not allow packages or mail to patrons to be collected by the park office. We stayed at the park in a motorhome and would stay there again. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Eagle Tree RV Park, Poulsbo, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Eagle Tree RV Park is just an average park with tight and unlevel spaces. There seems to be a mix of spaces that are tight and spaces that are not so tight. We were not able to bring our coach to level in our space. Surfaces are gravel and dirt, mostly dirt. No picnic table or other amenities on the site. Wifi was very slow and also down at times. Could not get satellite on our site, although some sites were open. This park needs some TLC for it to get to an acceptable level. We parked here in a motorhome and would not return. We camped at Eagle Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gilgal Oasis RV Park, Sequim, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Gilgal Oasis RV Park on Sequim, WA is a really good RV park. The spaces appear to be about 45' long with parking in front of the spaces. There is room to park one vehicle per space. The space has a concrete pad and gravel area around hookups. Passenger side of space is mostly grass with a picnic table over gravel. Each site has full hookups. Satellite friendly. Wifi is maybe the best we have encountered at any park. It has plenty of capacity and is reliable. We stayed there in a motorhome. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sun Country Golf Resort & RV Park, Cle Elum, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This small campground of about 14 spaces has been added to the golf course. The sites are spacious with plenty of room to park the toad and roomy to the side. Sites are gravel/dirt for RV and grass surrounding the parking area. The staff is more knowledgeable about the golf course than the campground. Many of the spaces have the utilities in places that are difficult to hook up to. The first spot we were given had the sewer hookup on the passenger side of the motorhome. They accommodated our request to be moved. Spaces are not quite level, but not badly out of level. Wifi is not available on the sites. The park is in a good location, close to amenities with the beauty of the golf course. The watering system also sprays the RVs when turned on, but they will turn it off when asked. Because of the Wifi situation, we would look for another park, rather than stay there. We camped at Sun Country Golf Resort & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Seattle / Tacoma KOA, Kent, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old park that is long past its prime. It is expensive for what you get and they pack RVs in like sardines. Short spaces with little room to the side. Our 40' motorhome had to be moved from our original assigned spot, because it was too long to fit on the site. The new site was just long enough so that the front and rear just touched the narrow roads that run through the campgrounds. No room to park our toad on the site. Wifi is terrible with only intermittent periods of grinding slowly. There is no reason for the internet to be so poor. Plenty of money coming in to fix it. No complaints about water, power and sewer. The laundry room has ample washers/dryers but were older and some were broken. The staff recognizes what they have and try to deal with their situation. I would look for another park rather than stay here again. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Motorhome.

Rollins Restaurant & RV Park, Rollins, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Rollins Restaurant and RV is a really nice RV park. All sites face east towards Flathead Lake with views of the lake through the trees. The park is approximately ¼ mile from the lake. The sites are long enough to hold a 40'+ motorhome and wide enough to park your toad with plenty left over. The sites are mostly grass with a nice picnic table and mostly shaded. There are full hook-ups and 50 amp service. The staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi is good, not great. Showers are clean and laundry facilities are available. There are community firepits and BBQ grille that anyone can use. We did not eat at the restaurant. There is an ice cream shop open until 7:00 PM. Try the "Moose Tracks." One of our favorite parks; we'll be back. We camped at Rollins Restaurant & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Valley View RV Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Valley View is located about 20 miles west of the west entrance of Yellowstone in Island Park, Idaho. It is in a scenic location overlooking a far lake and surrounded by mountains. The campgrounds are next to Highway 20 and there is some road noise, especially if you are in one of the front rows. In the back, not so much. The front office staff are very nice and helpful. The sites are dirt/gravel for the RV and grass on the side of the RV. Plenty of room between the spaces. Walking through grass into the RV seems to help with keeping the dirt out. It also is a pleasant area to cook, eat, and just sit. Sites are long enough to park a motorhome and toad. Water and power work just fine. The wifi is sometimes up, sometimes down and not real strong when up. Our dump connection was too high so that it was uphill from the coach. I would stay at Valley View again. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This park is situated on the banks of the Yellowstone River, with a background of mountains. The campground has an evening campfire. Since we were there July 4, the campground had a Mexican Fiesta for the campers which was very fun. The owners also arranged for tickets to the rodeo in Livingston. The owners are very active in making the campground active and lively. The sites are a little tight lengthwise, but not on the sides. The site had a picnic table. All utilities worked great, including the wifi. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground close to the Little Bighorn battlefield. Camp is on a gradual hill so very nice views from all sites. Our site was long enough for our 40' motorhome with parking for our toad. Utilities worked well, including wifi. The sites could be a little wider. Only negative was the sewer dump was above the coach, so hard to dump. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Parkway Trailer & RV Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park with mobile homes circling an area for RVs. Sites are back-in. Power is 30/50 amp. Good water pressure. AT&T doesn't work there, but you can drive into town and get it. Wifi is terrible; doesn't really work. It is convenient to the museum and Walmart. Owner is nice and lives on site. Room enough to park motorhome with toad next to it. We camped there in a 40' motorhome. As we rely on Wifi so much, probably would not go there again. We camped at Parkway Trailer & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Broken Arrow Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The name of this park is Broken Arrow Horse Camp and RV Park and it says a lot about the park. It must be said the facilities are very nice. Sites are long enough for a motorhome and toad to park. They are gravel with a grassy strip that has a picnic table and firepit. The Wifi is excellent, maybe the best we have encountered. That said, the camp is primarily populated with horse people and horse rigs. The emphasis here is the horse camp. The camp itself has about 8 barns. The horse people stay to themselves and are not welcoming to RVers. Horse people will love this place; RVers not as much. We camped at Broken Arrow Campground in a Motorhome.

BJ's Campground, Lusk, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

BJ's Campground is a convenient camp on your way to the Black Hills. It has 25 or so campsites that are full hookup, level, and spacious. We were met by the owner who escorted us to the site and directed us in. It was raining then and she did not have to do that. She also came by later in the day, still raining, with menus 0f some of the restaurants in town. She said maybe the Wifi would not be so good at our site, but it was excellent. The owner went out of her way to provide us great service. I thought the campgrounds were really good and will stay there again. We camped at BJ's Campground in a Motorhome.

Elks Lodge #2227 (Members Only), Westminster, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the electric/water only portion of the campground. The electric was 30 amp. Spaces are small with just enough room to let the slides out. It was hot in Denver while we were there and the power just could not keep up with the demand. Our air conditioner would barely work. There also is no dump on site. There is also a FHU area with 30 amp power. There are no reservations and these sites are hard to get. Wifi is not available on the sites; only in the clubhouse. The clubhouse is nice and spacious, food OK, drinks good. Not sure I would I would stay there again without a sewer hookup. We camped at Elks Lodge #2227 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park in the foothills of Colorado Springs. It has a rustic feel with frequent sightings of deer in the park. The sites were spacious with enough room for our 40' motorhome and toad and plenty of room left over to use the picnic table and fire ring. Wifi worked. 50 amp power and sewer worked well. The area is under drought restrictions and they are hauling water in for the campers and they ask to please limit your water use. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
