Quakerwoods Campground, Quakertown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

When we got there and set up I think we were in the hardest spot in the place. Also one of the other people in the spot behind us said it was the worst spot. Because of trees and other campers, you can't get into a good spot to set up. We had to block in the motorhome next to us just to set up. I had to use my extra 50 ft cord to reach the power. Their drain pipe is about 10 inches out of the ground on most sites. Once we got everything set up one of the Full timer/Seasonal campers had their kids riding around in their cart with the radio playing at full volume. Then about 1130 we were sitting out at our fire and there was another full timer fighting with his wife or girl friend. Saturday we took a walk around the place and it had to be at least 75% full timers. Some of them didn't even clean up their site and others had their carts torn apart and working on them. One guy had 2 40lb propane tanks holding the back end up and he was working on it. Now I want to say they try because the employees were working on new Horse Shoe Site. I think maybe if they made some of the Seasonal people clean up after themselves it could be a great place but now. NO. And the Bath house was filthy. There are 3 showers in the place, we looked at them all. Because I don't like to use mine in the camper; its just too small. I also had to get the guy next to me to move his car to give us more room after getting it in. We had to park next to our camper about 5 feet off and the guy that moved his car parked next to me. We camped at Quakerwoods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Pioneer Village Campground, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We got there about 5pm they met us on the way in. It was just an overnight stop. It's a great place to stay and I would do it again if I went out that way. Everything was well taken care of and clean. But because of the time we got there the town was pretty much closed there was nothing open so if we didn't have it your not going to unless the near by truck stop has it. with a dennys. We camped at Pioneer Village Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Dixie Caverns Campground, Salem, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We were on our way to Nashville so this was just an overnight and we planned on coming back on our way back home. But we didn't. When we got there I called the owner she was a sweet thing and told me where to go I had a pull through and once I got there is was so tight I couldn't even open the awning. And once I put my slide out the guy on that side couldn't open his. It backs up to I-81 so you hear the trucks running all night long. If one was to wreck and come over the guard rail it would be right in the camp site. We camped at Dixie Caverns Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nashville I-24 Campground, Smyrna, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a week here and had a great time. People say its is tight maybe they need more driving time. We had more than enough room to drive in and set up. Yes there are full timers and they do their thing and we did ours. Owners are great people it is a well maintained RV Park. If it wasn't so far from the house we would be back. You get there and find you have needs everything is close enough to get no matter what it is. We camped at Nashville I-24 Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Everything was perfect. I did think the lake had way to much algae in it at the shore line. We had site B-6 from the 9th to the 11th. We camped at Trap Pond State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Chips Folly Campground, Gretna, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

My Parents stayed there years ago and when I got my TT I had to come back. It's a great place and will come back again. One of the owners was great; we came up to the store on Saturday and ended up getting what we needed and then just sitting with her talking for over an hour. The pool wasn't open yet but everything else was. They have their own power boat dock or just bring your kayaks. The lake is about a mile long. We went on a small hike that could have gone for miles. I would say it's a mix of seasonal or full timers but even they were great. We hung out with some of them. We stayed in spot 60 and I didn't even have to level it; when I stopped it was perfect.

Boating, Jet Skiing, Kayaking, or Hiking. Or just hanging out by the Fire Ring. It's the perfect Camp Site for a weekend get away. We camped at Chips Folly Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hidden Acres Campground, Coatesville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

The park was clean we got there just after a storm came through so the weather wasn't very good. We got there a little late they waited for us. It was a nice place to camp for the weekend. I would stay again. There road ways are all paved. But it was late in the season so everything was closed up. But we were there for a Company Picnic some where else so it was a good place to camp for the weekend. We camped at Hidden Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.
