Twin Pines RV Park, Slaton, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Small convenient RV park that we've used several times as a one night layover on our way North. Interior roads are in good condition, nice green grass between each RV site, hook ups are located where they should be. The internet would never let me connect, however AT&T signal was good. Would highly recommend. We camped at Twin Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed at this park every time we've come to Yellowstone. It never disappoints. The gals at check in are a little slow (but hey...age catches up to all of us). Immaculate, clean, convenient park with decent $$ rates. We will always stay at this park on our trips to this part of the country. Internet not great but AT&T has good service here. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground, Wilson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $155.00
Overall Rating:

When there are no other places to stay....I guess you can get whatever rate you want. For 155.00 a night, I sure expected more. I've stayed in $25-$30 sites better than these. We are talking dirt/gravel roads and dirt sites in poor shape - landscaping, deep holes, etc. If you can find something elsewhere, I'd sure say try it. My next trip up into this part of the country, I'll book 6-8 months early. I will say they had the absolute best internet we've had in many years of travel....27-32 mbps. We camped at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground in a Motorhome.

Fort Collins North / Wellington KOA, Wellington, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We came in during a rainstorm. Right after you get off interstate 25 to go to the park, the roads turn in to dirt/gravel with a washboard texture. My coach was turned into a muddy mess. The host were a very nice, accommodating couple. If internet is a must for you.....AVOID this place. Without our WiFi Ranger Elite there was absolutely no signal to even try to log on to.....nothing. Even with my WiFi Ranger I got about 1/2 of a mbps. My AT&T signal was also very poor. This is a place I will avoid on future trips. The park however is a nice little park with lots of shade and trees everywhere. We camped at Fort Collins North / Wellington KOA in a Motorhome.

Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA), Clayton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Wide open, older campground. This was a one night stop-over. Fairly large park with only about 5-6 occupants. Brought back the days of old. Gravel (granite) pads, interior roads a little rough.....but I'd do a stop-over here again in a heartbeat. Best WiFi we've had in a long time. We camped at Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice little park for a quick overnight stay as we head to our next destination. It's very easy in and very easy out. Site had to be 70-80 feet long. Handled my Phaeton and toad with lots of room to spare. Decent internet......and the price is right! We camped at Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the Executive site area. Beautiful, full hook up sites. My dogs will dream about this RV Park forever. Next to a nice flowing creek, lots of beautiful green grass and trees. Absolutely quiet at night.....no noise whatsoever. Huge concrete pads with table and chairs, every amenity you could want. Now....the bad. We got absolutely NO wi-if signal....as in zero. However the management team let me use a DSL wi-if modem at no charge. We will come back.....without a doubt. In all of our travels over many years, this place gave us the most bang for our dollar. The wi-if is the only reason they did not get a solid 10 !! We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort, Lajitas, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Lajitas is a fabulous resort.....we dined, played, and truly enjoyed the resort (which was included in the stay at the RV Resort). We mainly used the RV Park as a jump station to "old town Terlingua and Big Bend.....however, we so enjoyed old town Terlingua as we dined at the Star Light Theater, enjoyed all of the local musicians who played almost every night (they were really good) and enjoyed the starkness of the area. It was a trip we won't soon forget. The WiFi was not great, but our WiFi Ranger solved that problem. Just remember you are in a very dry, desert type environment....which can truly be beautiful. We camped at Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort in a Motorhome.

Honeysuckle Meadows RV Park (formerly Cove Mountain RV Park), Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

When we stayed here it was still called Cove Mountain RV Resort. We truly loved the place. In the evenings after our adventures into the Smokies or other areas, we would love to sit out in our lounge chairs and take in some of the most beautiful scenery we've experienced. The sites were huge. This one will be a delight !! We camped at Honeysuckle Meadows RV Park (formerly Cove Mountain RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Lake Conroe RV & Camping Resort / Thousand Trails, Willis, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I would not stay here again if it were free. We were in Loop F; the sites were all gravel, unlevel, back to back, not at all suited for a 40' class A. I could not level my coach due to the horrendous slope of the site. No 50 amp service was available, had to use adapter for 30 amp service. I had to run 3 sections of sewer hose due to the poorly planned layout. The amenities were fabulous, but the sites were some of the worst we've experienced in 12+ years of traveling. We camped at Lake Conroe RV & Camping Resort / Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Bluewater Key RV Resort, Key West, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $154.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful place to stay.....if you get the chance to select, stay on the bay side, not the canal side. We were within 25 feet of the ocean. We could sit in the RV seats looking out the front window right out to the water. Always had a nice breeze (which can sometimes be a bad thing) Most sites had their own individual cabana or palapa with a boat dock, outdoor kitchen, etc. the amenities were superb. Key West was about 14 miles from the park......with tons of things to do. We camped at Bluewater Key RV Resort in a Motorhome.
