Nice clean park, although the sites are a bit close together. During the time we were there, however, it was not crowded so this wasn't an issue. While you wouldn't want to make this a "camping" destination, it is a good place to stay while visiting the Ohio Amish Country. It's very conveniently located. We'll definitely stay here again. There's lots to see and do within the area.

We've camped here several times, and it's a beautiful area. There's lots of nature and you can expect to see deer, wild turkey, etc. Very quiet, and during the week there are usually very few campers. We've been there with only one or two others in the entire campground. It's located with easy access to the TN River/Kentucky Lake if you want to fish, etc. There's also a lot of Civil War history in the area. Very clean, and friendly. We definitely recommend this as a "get away" trip. It's only 6 miles from Camden, TN.

Beautiful and well maintained park. There are two campgrounds, and we would recommend the one on the island. While the first campground had sites that were a bit close together, the sites on the island were nicely spaced and many are directly on the water. It was a great place to stay and visit Chattanooga. It's a beautiful area, and we plan to go back. We were here during October 2006, and the leaves were gorgeous.
