A really wonderful resort. The nicest owners and they really care about this resort and your stay here. A short drive back into Galveston and anything you need is nearby. One minute drive to the beach. We will absolutely stay here again. We camped at Jamaica Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sandollar Resort Motel and RV Park, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I raised my ratings from a year ago. They tore down the old clubroom and it looks much better. It is a great older park in a prime location. Great pier. Previous reviewer stating Rockport is a police state is totally wrong. I can drink with the best of them but I don't drive or miss-behave. The people and the police in Rockport are very friendly. As always in Rockport watch out for low hanging oak trees if you have a really high profile RV. We camped at Sandollar Resort Motel and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sandollar Resort Motel and RV Park, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Well laid out older park. Level gravel sites that are just a little tight if they well full. Pier across the street with a bait stand. Food at nearby Alice Faye's was really fresh. Honestly this place would have received a 10, however, it is in need of some updating and repairs at its meeting facilities. Anything you could want shopping wise is nearby, Walmart, Walgreens, etc. We will definitely stay here again. One note is if you have a big tall rig there are many oak trees in the park that you will need to be careful of. We camped at Sandollar Resort Motel and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA , Montgomery, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very pricey but a wonderful clean park. Concrete streets and pads. This one has everything you could want and the price reflects it. It will take you about 15 to 20 minutes to make it into Conroe. There you can find just about any store or restaurant you will need. A definite stay at again, if we can afford it. We camped at Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent park near the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. Space size is adequate and have all the amenities you could want. Great pool, good signal on wifi. We used this as our try-out for the new TT.
