Firehouse RV Campground, Jefferson, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is just a field behind the local firehouse. It sits right next to a cemetary. There is not a shower house that I know of. No one at the campground on a regular basis to run it, just firemen that stop by. We camped at Firehouse RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Washington DC / Capitol KOA, Millersville, Maryland

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a one night stay on our way south. The restrooms were clean, and the site was decent. However, the one female employee did not know what she was doing. I asked for a w/e site, but she fought with me stating that they considered that a full hookup, charged me for my 2 & 3 year olds who should have been free of charge, and became very mad when I asked her about the charges for them, and was very upset that I did not have a reservation. Finally, the owner realized I was getting upset, and came over to help me. Everything was taken care of. Campground has a good location! We camped at Washington DC / Capitol KOA in a Motorhome.

Holiday Trav-L-Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park. My kids had a blast at the pools, ice cream stores, and playgrounds. Nightly entertainment at the front pool. New laundry facilities are great. Bathrooms are newly remodeled, lots of sand, but you will have that at the beach!!! Highly recommended ! We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Travel Trailer.

Whispering Pines Campground, Washington, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice local campground. Owners are newer and are really trying to keep up the campground. The bathroom does have bugs in the corners, but overall they are clean. Pool is very nice, and the playgrounds are close to sites. We like this campground a lot. We camped at Whispering Pines Campground in a Motorhome.

Sally Buffalo Campground, Cadiz, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is divided into 4 different areas. 3 of the 4 areas are permanent sites, the other area is one large field, and this is for the weekenders. No designated sites, everyone just sets up wherever they wish, muddy sites, and no one runs this place. Also, you have to pay $5 for a key to the bathroom, and they are filthy. Never stay here again!!!! We camped at Sally Buffalo Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a great park. Owners are friendly and helpful. The park is clean and well kept. The playgrounds are nice but closer to seasonal sites not weekenders. Planned activities and lots for all ages. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Kozy Rest in a Travel Trailer.
