Normandy Farms, Foxboro, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Definitely family oriented. If we had kids with us and were not parked in the H row (dusty main road), could have rated a 5. Loved the indoor pool and hot tubs as it had cooled down. 3 outdoor pools. 2+ acre Dog park was very nice. It also had a dog wash. Multiple kids parks, bike park, horse shoes, baseball field and disc golf course. Snack bar open all day. Had seafood basket and was good. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Fifth Wheel.

Paradise Park Resort Campground, Old Orchard Beach, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

Nice resort feeling, yet mainly woodsy camping sites. Ours backed up to the pool and made me happy. Bathrooms and showers are very nice as well as laundry room. Can walk to beach or take resort shuttle running every 15 minutes. Everyone very helpful and they work hard at keeping the place up. Oh and the snack bar, pizza was very good! We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cozy Pond Camping Resort, Webster, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in new 50amp gravel road area. Didn't have good feel of other seasonal sites plus golf cart drove behind your site for convenience from pool/ horseshoe pits. Nice pool and mini golf. Didn't find bathroom until leaving on seasonal side. My learning when they say they are putting you in the "new section". It maybe lacking the camping feel. Booked 9 mo ahead in hopes of a pond site. Be specific in what your asking for. We camped at Cozy Pond Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

King Phillip's Campground, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Most are very spacious sites, our A18 was one of them. Most are paved roads, split rail fences around many sites with grass & trees for shade. Hanging flower baskets throughout. Lots of showers for this big park. Close to Lake George and tons of tourist activities. We camped at King Phillip's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Farmers Market on Main road through Lake George has lots of fresh and unique vegetables. Tomatillos are delicious. Adirondack Winery nice wines, 7 dollars to taste 7 wines and keep the wine glass with their name on it. What we didn't do but looked fun: Steamboat rides & parasailing on lake. If Kids, bring your pocketbook for watermarks, rides, mini golf and more. Kid friendly.

Four Mile Creek State Park, Youngstown, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very large grassy well groomed park with very large sites. Be prepared to fill your water tank when you arrive. First section is more open with biggest playground and picnic area next to Lake Ontario (no swimming). Second section by lake has more privacy but only 30 amp sites. Second section in back is tent only, no power. We camped at Four Mile Creek State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Niagara Falls. Maid of the Mist boat ride gives you the best view of the falls and great experience. You can you your site pass to park 4 miles down the road at Niagara Falls State Park and take free shuttle that stops at many scenic spots to Niagara Falls. Runs every 45 minutes in Summer.

Red Run Campground, New Holland, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Older campground is spacious, shade with water and 30 amp hookups. Monthly folks get sewer spots. Pump truck is 6 bucks. Beautiful creek - we put our lawn chairs in while we watched grandkids play. Nice large swimming pool and playground for kids. Amish ride down road between two sides of park. Wagon ride following Luau Pig Roast. Each Saturday is different them. Some firepits are too close to rigs for comfort. We camped at Red Run Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice long sites for big rigs, helpful staff drives you to your spot and gave directions for easiest way out. Nice laundry room with game room and pool right outside. If I had planned right, I could have swam while I washed clothes. Stayed additional night and they were good about enabling us not to move. Lots of one nighters with towes attached. Our dogs enjoyed their large K9 park as well as walking perimeter. Garage cans at each site. We camped at Clinton / Knoxville North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
