Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA, Grand Island, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $119.00
Overall Rating:

An expensive park to be sure. But sites were spacious and the amenities were nice and close. A great jumping off point to see all of this area which is beautiful and very touristy. Very close to the falls with a variety of things to do in the area. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Westfield / Lake Erie KOA, Westfield, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park close to Lake Erie and wine country. Sites were level and spacious, staff was helpful and accommodating. The only thing that's a little weird is you pull in opposite your neighbor which means both of your rig's patio areas are facing each other. Despite this I would stay there again. We camped at Westfield / Lake Erie KOA in a Motorhome.

Sunbury / Columbus North KOA, Sunbury, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice campground, so much so we extended our stay for a day. Pull through site was not level which was a pain but the rest of the park was beautiful and secluded. They have a nice catch and release fishing pond and the staff is very friendly. A very nice pool and play area for the kids. Well-maintained and hooks up were close and easy. My only issue was with the long term residents on the other side of the pond. About four men were out there talking very loudly and dropping F-bombs such that I had to have my ten yr old daughter go inside. Then they got out a drone and flew it all over the park and very close to people's rigs. My very beautiful wife was fishing and the drone kept hovering around her while the men kept up their cussing with every other word. I do not think I would stay there again just because of those idiots. Felt like my privacy was being invaded. Again, value, service and cleanliness were all well above average. We camped at Sunbury / Columbus North KOA in a Motorhome.

Indianapolis KOA, Greenfield, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

A nice campground with a weird entrance and check in area so pay attention to the signs. Close to the interstate so there is some noise. Site was very spacious and I had no problems with hook ups. Staff is present in the park working and the pool area, although shallow, was well-appointed like a small kids water park. I would stay here again even though I couldn't get satellite due to trees. We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Motorhome.

Bay Ridge RV Park, Garden, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful campground right on Lake Michigan. Easy in and out but off the beaten path so call ahead or check their website. Check in was quick and easy. Site was so unlevel I was amazed. Beautiful surroundings and nice and quiet. Hook ups worked fine and the park is easy to navigate with a big rig. Uphill drain for sewer. Also have a long hose with you. There is a restaurant right on the grounds that serves mediocre food but has a nice place to sit and dine by the marina. I would stay here again. We camped at Bay Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bonanza Campground & RV Park, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to get to but that's when the fun starts. The sites are close and not well-tended. Had to leave early and was told "no refunds". Permanent residents there were nice tho. Pool and playground weren't bad. Tough navigating the parks narrow roads and the staff had problems finding a site that my big rig would fit into despite having made the res 1 month prior. I would not stay here again. We camped at Bonanza Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Waterloo / Lost Island Waterpark KOA, Waterloo, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This park is horrible, huge and horrible. It is rundown, dirty, needs mowed and weeded. Some long term rigs looked abandoned. Staff did not care about any of it and were rarely seen. At check in, I was sent all the way to the back of the park to find my site was already occupied. Had to drive the big rig through the confusing roads back to the office to have a 17 yr old tell me "no one is in that site" Then had to stand there for 30 minutes while she called other campers to ask when they were leaving. The store was not stocked and the food they sell was horrible. If you like campgrounds that have few rules, and fewer people to enforce them, this is the place for you. I would NEVER stay here again. All in all, you'll get the impression no one cares about this place-or You! I've stayed at 50+ KOAs and this is the WORST of all of them. We camped at Waterloo / Lost Island Waterpark KOA in a Motorhome.

Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls, Brandon, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice wide and level site. Hookups were close and easy. A great family campground with lots to do right in site. The pool/hot tub area was filthy and even my ten yo didn't want to get back in it. Also, when we arrived, check in was a pain due to one staff member at the desk and four people wanting to check in. Very slow and arduous and unnecessary. All in all a nice campground and I would stay here again. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A great park very close to Little Bighorn battlefield. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Sites are a little close but are long and not too tight. Hook ups worked well and there are some great views from the park. if you want to fly fish the Big Horn river, it's quite a drive to the actual fishing sites and fishing from the banks of these sites was difficu;lt due to high, fast water. A drift boat is the answer for trout fishing. A great, well-run and scenic park that is off the beaten path but still has easy access to the interstate. i will stay here again. Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

An absolute beautiful park that I could find no flaw with. had a great pull through site by the river. gorgeous scenery and beautiful Montana nights. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The surrounding area was beautiful with short drive to Livingston and a bit longer to Yellowstone. the grounds of this park were perfectly manicured and roomy. Lush grass at every site and a short walk takes you to the bank of the Yellowstone river where you can wet a line from the shore. I've stayed at 30+ parks since feb 2018 and this is the best! cant wait to stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Valley Inn & RV Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here in a big rig motor home in July 2018. All gravel park with beautiful surrounding scenery. Yellowstone east entrance is about 30 miles away with a beautiful drive on the way. Cody, Wy is about 17 miles east. Easy to get in/out of. Hook ups worked great. There was a wafting sewer smell occasionally, but the Shoshone river runs along the west side of the RV park and was gorgeous. The restaurant leaves something to be desired as the food was so-so and they were "out of steaks". Unthinkable for Wyoming! Further after being told they were out of steaks another table that appeared to be locals were told the same thing and then comp'd their entire meal, we received no such discount. There is a saloon on premises which was not rowdy or intrusive. All in all I would stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone Valley Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sundermeier RV Park, Saint Charles, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 2 weeks in June of 2018. Nice park, all concrete with long pull throughs and many big, expensive rigs here. At first I was put off by all the rules on the website for this campground but after being here a few days realized that those rules keep out the riff-raff. Nice park. No amenities really but they do the basics very very well. Hook ups were close and water PSI is 100, so use a regulator. Also, put the regulator on at the bib because the pressure here actually blows some water hoses. there is no pool or playground here for the little ones, but then I didn't see many kids here during my stay. This is very close to the Katy trail and all St. Louis attractions. Park is well-maintained and clean. I will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Sundermeier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whittington Woods Campground, Whittington, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 3 nights in June 2018. Big park with a wooded feel and plenty of room to roam around. The owner is a really nice guy and very courteous. Hookups were maintained and adequate. My only issue was that I was put in a site close to the entrance and right on the end. Normally these are desired sites but mine was small and had a lot of traffic going to and from their own rigs. This became especially annoying at 6 a.m. when people were leaving for work. I would stay here again in an instant - I'd just have a little more to say about where I was placed as the park wasn't that full. Also, couldn't get satellite reception due to the many trees but that was fine with me. We camped at Whittington Woods Campground in a Motorhome.
