Campers Inn Inc., Panama City Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

In all fairness, this is a nice campground. The staff, store, check-in process were great. The street noise was almost unbearable, Club La Vella across the street thumped all night, and the grounds really needed sprucing up. Beware the sand spurs that stick those not wearing any footwear! Like many other campgrounds in highly populated areas, this one could improve by building sound barrier walls along the street sides. They also have the potential to become even better by upgrading their landscaping and basic amenities. We would not stay again, but in fairness it still is a nice place. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.

Flint River RV Park (formerly Bainbridge/Flint River KOA), Bainbridge, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Great website. Very friendly staff. Sites fairly level. Putt putt golf. Easy access to hwy. Drawbacks include not enough staff. Owner was the only staff I encountered and if he wasn't around, the office was unoccupied. No pool which would have been great. Not much to do in local area except fishing. Overall good place to stay though not for extended vacation. We camped at Flint River RV Park (formerly Bainbridge/Flint River KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Florence Marina State Park, Omaha, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

A middle of nowhere CG, but great! Location on the river, with a big pool, all sites level with a few paved sites. Lots of open areas to run and play. Friendly staff and only a couple of long term rigs which may have been the staff. Overall an excellent CG which we will definitely visit again. We camped at Florence Marina State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

F. D. Roosevelt State Park, Pine Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great mountain feeling. Friendly staff. Shows signs of steady improvements. Level gravel sites. All sites no sewer, but do have gray water dump pits at every site. Local area is great and the view from the main office is absolutely gorgeous! Word of caution, from main office, it's a very steep and narrow ride downhill to the camp ground. If possible, enter CG from the rear entrance where it's level, leave the rig in the CG parking lot and take the car uphill to the main office. You won't be sorry you did. Overall great CG. Will definitely stay again. We camped at F. D. Roosevelt State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
