Overall Rating:

Stayed 3 nights. Service was excellent and when we needed our gas topped up they were there pronto. The park was clean. The laundry was a fair price at $2 a load. Wifi was sometimes good others slow. The sight was level with a large green lawn patio. We would stay here again. We camped at Madison KOA in a Motorhome.

Cedar Lake Bible Retreat & RV Park, Cedar Lake, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 4 nights Wasnt able to get sewer as they were full so used the bathrooms. They do not have a dump station. The inside of the bathrooms were clean but the enterance wasnt so nice. No Wifi that I was aware of. The camp grounds were surround by a small wooded area. It was a short walk down to the lake where there is a swimming area. It was Approx. 40 miles to downtown Chicago where we parked for the day for $37 for 12 hrs under Millieum Park. It takes approx 1.5hrs to drive in. The campground is close to a suppermarket. On the way in be carefull crossing the railway tracks as some are killers. We camped at Cedar Lake Bible Retreat & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Eden Springs Park and Campground, Benton Harbor, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 4 nights. Wifi super fast. No amenities but I still liked staying here. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Roads were gravel and dirt. Table and fire ring are available but we didn't ask. The park is attracted to a very old amusement park that has a small train that you can go for a ride but on the weekend. We camped at Eden Springs Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

On the weekend the Round Barn winery has great music plus craft beer. Went to Warren Dunes state park of a swim and a walk in high sand dunes. The Piers at St.Joseph are a nice walk as well as the village. Two breweries The Livery and North Pier Brewing are worth a visit.

The roads in the area outside the campground are very damaged with holes so be careful.

Sterling State Park, Monroe, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights. Our sight was asphalt long and a pull thru but had a dip in the middle where we had to park so we had to put our wheels up on three corners. Didnt use Wifi if they have it? The camp host has lots of water toys for u to borrow and information even thought we didnt use any thing. Access was easy and moving around the road was no problem. I would come and stay again. We camped at Sterling State Park in a Motorhome.

Houghton / Letchworth KOA, Houghton, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 4 nights. The dirt road was very dusty. The site wasnt very level and it took some time for us to get our Class C level. The park which is large and spread out was quite and well maintained. The Wifi was Ok. The pools and games room looked great but we didnt use them. The instruction to the park of 19 are very accurate as the first turn onto Centerville Road is very steap. The map to your site does not match the name of the roads and it took some time to find our site. We would stay here again if we were in the area. The park is quite a way from any major town and shops etc. We camped at Houghton / Letchworth KOA in a Motorhome.

Letchworth State park was lovely and the falls were beautiful. They have a tour of the dam at the other end of the park which was interestering enough at 2.00pm but u need to get your ticket early. The town of Mt Morris looked lovely for a walk around but we didn't have time to stop. Warsaw had a brewery.

Ashaway RV Resort, Bradford, Rhode Island

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Nice large park with good level sight. Laundry was very reasonable $1.50 load, dryer $1.00 but only three machines which is not enough for such a large park. Sites were gravel with grass on the patio. The road in dirt so your vehicle get very dusty going up and down. Didn't use there WiFi. About 15 minute drive to beautiful Westerly and an hour to Newport. We camped at Ashaway RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Grey Sail Brewery was the best in the area. It had a better range of beer and has a Pizza oven in there grounds. The town of Westerley was so pretty. Mystic was very crowded and hard to fine parking. Watch Hill was also very busy and its $8 to use that beach plus paying for parking. We did walk down to the lighthouse at Watch Hill.

Canoe River Campground, Mansfield, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

This a Lovely old park that needs a bit of love. We were camped under the trees and it keeped us cooler by 10 degrees. Sight was level enough. Staff were helpful. Guest were friendly. Wifi was good at times. Internal roads were good even after a down pour. You just had to take your time over and pothole that appeared. The road to and from the campground are full of potholes so approach carefully. Sights were large. Would stay here again. We camped at Canoe River Campground in a Motorhome.

We drove to Boston and parked For $40 a day. The price of 2 return tickets by train. Traffic wasn't to bad and it only took an hour after 9.00am. A sail on a tall ship in the harbor was lovely. Boston Pops was fun but u dont have to get there at 11.00am as the place didn't fill up till about 3 or later. Ladies Roses Nail salon in Easton was good.

Love the Amish village tour. The Strasburg railway where they had Thomas and Percy. The Lancaster and the Bird In Hand Markets. Best of all was driving around in the late afternoon on all the little country roads looking at the countryside. We saw lots of farmers working with their different farm machinery.

The old town trolley would be good if you rode the circle first before getting off otherwise catch the meteo and and a taxi. Arrington Cemetery is easy by metro. The Chesepiooc Real Ale is the closest Brewery. Annapolis is lovely. All the Smithsonian are free. A week here was not enough time. When to a concert at the Merryweather Post Pavilion so check it out for who in performing. Great free parking comes with ticket. Arrive early and have dinner at The Curred within walking distance.
