Quiet Creek RV Resort, Fredericksburg, Texas

Overall Rating:

A huge park. Well set out and site level. Roads were very good. Not to far from the center of downtown. Wifi was ok but dropped out a fair bit. Staff was friendly and efficient. Very easy to miss the entrance as the road drops off. We camped at Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The Pacific War museum was great and that was a suprise to me. I spent 3 hours listening to the audio tour. Great information as I hate reading lots of stuff. The enchanted rock was lovely walk up to the top. The wine at the liquor shop can be half the price

Go over to Mexico. $5 per person for a row over the river return. The same for the donkey return. A guide was assigned to us so he walked us around his village and explained what we wanted to know. We tipped him. All the sights in the park are lovely. The restaurant at The Basin has a great vege wrap.

Overall Rating:

Great staff. Wifi was quite good at times. Laundry was $1.50 dryer $1.25. The internal roads need work but i suppose that is in there plans as they are currently doing work to improve the campground. They were manageable in there current condition. There were trains going pass a couple of times but it was nice to here there whistle. One block from highway so no noise from passing traffic. We would defiantly stay here again. We camped at Alamogordo/ White Sands KOA in a Motorhome.

Black Bart's RV Park, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Staff were friendly and very helpful. The road in is a bit bumpy but just take it slow. No Wifi. Not many TV channels. Our site 131/97 was very sloppy which we managed with all our blocks. There were 7 vacant level sites next to us so I didn't understand why we were given this site. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Lowell Observatory in the night was really interesting as well as attending during the day. The Bever Street brewery had good pizza and beer. Also the Mother Road brewery had lovely Kooch style beer. The meteor crater on the way to Winslow was very interesting. The Eagles song standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona is depicted still. The restored hotel La Posada in Winslow was beautiful.

Mather Campground (NPS Campground), Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The sight 122 was a bit small for 25ft vehicle. Wi-Fi didn't exist for At&T anywhere in the south rim part of the park. This for 4 million visitors? Apart from that, everything was good and we would do it all again. We camped at Mather Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Nice park next to Casino if that is your thing. Buffet very good. Wifi also very good. A noisy road early in the morning. Staff very good. Laundry very reasonable. 8 miles from the strip. For the price of Uber you can park at a casino. Parking at the RIO casino is free. Just a 15 minute walk to the strip. Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Staff were great and helpful. Right next to the shuttle stop. Our site was just big enough for our 25ft but had to put the toad somewhere else. Our site was flat but no room for error as it fell away and dropped off at the back. Wifi was good. It was very cold over night and it dropped down to 34 degree. The staff warned us that the water house may freeze. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
