Route 66 RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Super clean and spacious park. It is pretty far from the Interstate and quiet. Staff was helpful and friendly. Casino/Hotel had plenty of food choices. Close enough to Albuquerque to use as a home base. We camped at Route 66 RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA, Willcox, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the most spacious KOA's that I have stayed at in the Western US. We had a premium site and it was spotless. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is next to Interstate 10 and there is some traffic noise. However, the Interstate is not too busy so the noise is not a problem since you are either using AC or the heater. This would be a great place to home base to see the surrounding sites. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

United Campground of Durango, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Close to downtown Durango, gravel spots, good WIFI signal and good utilities. We had a wide spot and close to the train tracks. There are 3 steam trains in the morning and 3 in the evening. Many spots have large trees and cell service is adequate. No campfires are allowed. The park is very quiet and peaceful. We stayed here in a 40 foot motorhome. We camped at United Campground of Durango in a Motorhome.

Lightner Creek Campground, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in a canyon with a creek running through it. It is quiet and clean. Kids will love the pool and creek. The staff is friendly and helpful. The spots are level and there are lots of trees. Cellphone and internet are limited at best because you are in a canyon and they only have DSL service. You are 10 minutes from downtown Durango. This is a must stay RV Park for this area. We camped at Lightner Creek Campground in a Motorhome.
