This should be listed as a 65+ or more RV park. It seems that 90% or more are there seasonally or permanently. There were only 7 or 8 spaces that seemed to have people coming and going. No one was out and about. It was like a ghost town full of campers. I'm 60 and I felt like a youngster there. They had a nice pool which was the only thing that convinced us to stay the full three nights we had scheduled. The spaces were close together and even though there was some bushes between the sites, there was no feeling of privacy. If you're looking for a very quiet place where you'll never meet anyone or be bothered with kids, this is your place. But I learned something about myself. I like the activity in other parks and people wandering around saying hi and trying to be friendly. I even missed the activity of kids which can sometimes annoy me if they're out of hand. I found it a depressing place that looked like where old RV'ers go to die. I won't be going back simply because of those reasons. This place might be Narnia for some folks but it didn't suit me. I won't be back. For our purposes it was a trip to break-in a new 5th wheel and check things out. That mission went well but I wouldn't want to camp here again. We camped at Lakewood RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We used this campground as an over night stop to Florida. The staff we extremely friendly and escorted us to our site and pointed out locations for hookups. I don't know if there was any bathroom facilities or not. There are a lot of full time residents here. Most were construction people and I assume they were working there at the campground as they are in the process of making a lot of improvements. It is just off a busy hwy and noise was a problem but we turn our air conditioner to constant fan and it drowned the noise out. This place has a lot of potential and I think will be much improved in the months to come. We stayed there on the way to and from Florida.. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park came under new management about a year+ ago. The old management is definitely missed. The new owners are not near as helpful or courteous and the previous owners. I liked to visit this place because of the trout fishing. After a release from the trout farm upstream the trout are plentiful. Now that I have a 5th wheel there will be no more trips to Indian Springs CG. They are not big rig friendly. For those who can fit in, there are great spots by a tributary creek where I have caught trout. I hate that I've out grown the place with my rig and I hope that the new owners will become more helpful as time goes on. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.
