Olympic Peninsula / Port Angeles KOA, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was excellent. Cleanliness of the restrooms wasn't that great. This location was very popular for families with little kids. There were many activities for the kiddos. We camped at Olympic Peninsula / Port Angeles KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Crooked River Ranch RV Park, Crooked River Ranch, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

What a beautiful place; including the golf course. The grounds were immaculate; one of the most clean, manicured, and well-kept we've seen. The surrounding canyon is very picturesque. Our one singular complaint was the coin-operated showers. I'd rather pay more on my nightly rate (which was very reasonable, by the way). If they need to limit use, or whatever, I can understand that. However, if they're going to charge for showers, PLEASE, install a stinkin' quarter dispensing machine! Still, it's a beautiful place and I would stay again if needing a central-Oregon stop-over. Recommended. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Zephyr Cove Resort RV Park & Campground, Zephyr Cove, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Nice enough campground, overall, but our general feeling of this place is that it's a huge resort. Some folks will enjoy the boat & personal-watercraft rentals (and many other amenities) but it was just too busy for us. One really major negative was the deplorable condition of the showers & toilet rooms. These are desperately in need of a remodel. Beware. I should add that the breakfast in the lodge was very good. We camped at Zephyr Cove Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Yosemite RV Resort, RVC Outdoor Destination (formerly Yosemite South , Coarsegold, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We spent four nights here; outside of Yosemite Nat'l Park. Unfortunately, our planning was too late to get a spot inside the Park. The drive into the Park each day was longer than we would have liked, but doable (and scenic). There's good grocery stores in nearby Oakhurst, CA. This RV park has much new work happening; many new sites being created and the new bathhouse was very nice. The big swimming pool was a real plus for our family. The hosts were very nice folks and even helped us with a minor schedule change. If only it were nearer to Yosemite Nat'l Park, we'd stay again. We camped at Yosemite RV Resort, RVC Outdoor Destination (formerly Yosemite South in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly RV Park, Weed, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at 'Friendly' on our way to Yosemite. Camp hosts are wonderful folks who were welcoming and helpful. What a neat location, near the western slopes of Mt Shasta. It's under new ownership, with upgrades coming soon. Would stay again. Recommended. We camped at Friendly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
