Wildwood State Park, Wading River, New York

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for two days in a travel trailer. Stayed on site 48. Some leveling required. Nice hiking and biking in the area. Didn't really use restrooms but checked them out and they were clean. Site had full hook up. Stable electric and descent water pressure. Picnic table on each site. Bring your own fire ring. Sites are sort of close but not terrible. Most sites seem to be pull thru. Enough room for trailer and tow vehicle but was tight. Some sites are longer than others. North Overlook has some nice end sites with just woods next to them. We camped at Wildwood State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Stayed here one night. Great pull thru sites. 30 amp service and full hook up. Lots of TV stations. Bring your own fire ring and wood. Must be off the ground. Very quite midweek. Nicer RV sites on North Overlook. Hige park with many hiking and biking trails. Beach accsess. Great family campground. We camped at Wildwood State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lazy Acres Campground, Fayetteville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here overnight on my trip from Florida to New York. This is about half way. I checked in late , around 7, as I was driving most of the day. I had just picked up a brand new travel trailer. Having availability and a pull through site was key. Full hook up and reasonable at around $45. Sites a pretty close together but great for the one night I was there. Dirt road but a cement pad with a picnic table was awesome. Didn't even have to touch the dirt. Was very quick stay but liked this campground. Because it was late the owner escorted me to my site. This was super helpful as this was my first time using my travel trailer. I didn't use it but they did have cable hook up included in the price. Also nice on the camp map was the coordinates for both Direct TV and Dish TV. Nice if you have satellite TV on your rig. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Russell Brook Campsite, Roscoe, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for one night on the way back to New York. Stayed on site 39 with a 24' travel trailer. Site was huge and right on the brook. Very nice campground. Lots of seasonal campers. Had some pretty awesome tent sites in the back. Nice old water wheel near the tent sites. Bathrooms were very clean. Check in was a breeze. Just showed up and a site was available. No cell signal but was able to get one by the office. Great spot for kids as they have play area and a pool. Also have a camp store. We camped at Russell Brook Campsite in a Travel Trailer.
