Park was OK at best. Was supposed to have a 50 amp site, they put us in a 30. Power surges all weekend. Park was very noisy, lots of barking dogs. Rented a golf cart, which died after a short trip to the pool. Maintenance staff told us we should have charged it (it had just been picked up). Plugged it in for several hours, died again. We were told we didn't charge it correctly. After Maintenance plugged it in and it charged over night - still not charged. We brought it back for a refund. This is not a campground that we would be back to. Way overpriced for something that is just OK. We camped at Strawberry Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed for a weekend with our 2 grandaughters and 2 of their friends. Arrived and check in was completed at the gate, we never had to leave the MH. We were given a golf cart escort without asking, who took what appeared to be the 'long' way to the site, but actually took us the way that put us in the best position to back in. Staff and other campers were very friendly. It was a relaxed feeling right from the beginning. We were there for 'science' weekend, which was great for the kids (6,6,8 & 9). They created volcano's, made play doh, made slime and made some jars with paint & glitter. There was no charge for any of the experiments - which was great. They also each made a friend at the 'stuff a bear' event, which was an extra charge. I have to say that the staff - which included several young kids - was outstanding. They were very polite, paid a lot of attention to each of the kids, and were patient with even the youngest kids. I would absolutely go back to this campground. We camped at Pine Acres Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Called while on a trip for an overnight stay. After telling the woman 3 times what we wanted, she responded with 'Is that an RV or something?' At that point we should have known we were in trouble. We finally were assured we would have a pull through, full hook up site for our motorhome. Arrived at the park to find out that the site was not a pull thru, OK, not insurmountable. We also find that the electric and water hook-ups are in between sites on the passenger side of the coach, sewer is on the driver side as expected. It took an extension cord, extra hose and a treck through the mud to connect water and electric, with the neighbors water hook up spraying water on the electric pole that we shared. People around us were very friendly, and told us about the Christian music festival that was underway. Music was very loud, but ended at a reasonable hour. We finally fell asleep around 11, only to find out that the campground is right next to train tracks - trains that blew their whistle at 5 am and 6 am.... We finally got just got up and back on the road. Park was clean, people were nice, location - never again. We camped at Richmond North / Kings Dominion KOA in a Motorhome.
