Mid-America Camp Inn, Goodland, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I stopped here in 2009 and then again yesterday by chance. Same sweet lady working here. The place is quiet and safe and directly off the HWY. It's an old campground and not many people were here. When you drive as far as we do you welcome simple places. It's not pretty, but convienent. Spacious lots that offer some shade. Site surface is a concrete pad. We camped at Mid-America Camp Inn in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

She has a thrift store that looks like a hoarders paradise, but who cares, it's her home.

Sierra Meadows RV Park, Ahwahnee, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The wifi was unusable at our site. No cable. Nothing here but dirt and weeds. Terrifying road entering and leaving which is brutal on the brakes. Garbage has to be taken to a dumpster by yourself with a super heavy hot lid clipped down. Only two washers. Campground is being closed permanently oct. 31 2017. Only overpriced cabins will remain. The area is so full of ground squirrel holes I rolled an ankle more than once. It's more expensive than a KOA for nothing to do. Crooked, unlevel sites. No shade! We camped at Sierra Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Walnut Grove Campground, Alfred, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The owners bust their humps to be courteous and helpful. Mostly seasonal people here who are quite friendly. They're dog friendly. It's a gated, safe park for sure. You're situated about 10 miles from stores you need. They have a pool, 2 washers and two dryers. They sell firewood as well. The sites are much larger than most places overall. Wifi but no cable at ours and antenna picked up nothing really. There are sites in the woods as well for smaller units. We camped at Walnut Grove Campground in a Travel Trailer.
